Beef Au Jus

"beef with au jus", "au jus sauce", etc., just like "reducing down"...are all commonly used phrases by cooks. "au jus" means "with juice"! so the phrase "beef with au jus" means "beef with with juice". and about "reducing down"? as opposed to what "reducing up", "reducing right/left"? "reducing" means "make smaller or less in amount, degree, or size". come on cooks use terms/phrases properly!

Pressure Cooker Carnitas

looks like a good recipe, I will try it soon. BUT to lessen the "heat" remove the peppers white membranes because that is where the heat is, not in the seeds! so many recipes and chefs continue to say the heat is in the seeds :>(

Superfast Asparagus

sounds great...I had not thought of using Cajun seasoning :>( however, I cook asparagus in the microwave: wrap in damp paper towels, microwave until tender (3-4 min) and no heating of the oven and kitchen!
