Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2010
I have made this recipes for years and this has made me the "cookie queen" in the family. My mom is mad that I have surpassed her cookie making skills...and did at the age of 15 with this recipe. Never fails, give it a try!

Roasted Butternut Squash and Garlic Lasagna

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2010
I made the recipe exactly as written and I think it was awesome. My 3 year old even had seconds! And my husband, who was "dreading" dinner when I told him what we were having loved it. He felt bad for doubting me :) Excellent recipe, thanks a million!

Frosted Pumpkin Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2009
pretty tasty little bars. I changed some things to make it healthier, used ground flaxseed in place of the egg and applesauce in place of the oil. I also added more spices because I like my pumpkin spicy!! Could be a little pumpkin-ier, but overall they were great!

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2009
had this in my MIL's house and it was great, so I am trying it myself tonight. Also used the pork shoulder for the low cost aspect. TIP TO CLEAN YOUR SLOW COOKER: if you are having a hard time getting cooked on food off it, soak a dryer sheet in it for a few hours and everything should come right up. Fill with water enough to cover all stuck on food and it will wipe up after a few hours. Works everytime!!

Michelle's Famous Washed Cranberry Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2008
This recipe is great! My first attempt at cranberry sauce and I am so pleased. I also changed a few things, however... 1. Used 1/2 C. freshly squeezed OJ for 1/2 C of the water 2. Added the zest from one orange (the orange I used to squeeze the OJ) 3. Cooked longer than the 5 minutes recommended, about 10 min, for all the berries to "pop" and make it a little saucier and less chunky. These changes gave me a sweet, not too sweet, orange infused cranberry sauce that I will happily refer to from this Thanksgiving on! Thank you for this recipe! :)

White Bean Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2008
This was a great recipe, didn't even seem "healthy" as it is so flavorful. We loved it with avocados, a little sour cream and some cheese sprinkled on top. My husband liked to scoop it up with tortilla chips. Great leftovers, too. If you're thinking about trying it, just go for it, you will be happy you did!
