Biscuit-Topped Chicken Pot Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2013
Very good easy quick recipe. I will use a smaller can of biscuits next time and cut them in half. I used rising big biscuits and the bottoms were not cooked and kind of slimy. I added 1/4 tsp garlic powder, and 1/4 tsp onion powder, doubled the black pepper. I also used low sodium cream of broccoli and low sodium cream of mushroom and it turned out great. Veggies: Fresh broccoli, carrots and frozen peas and corn. Boyfriend loved it too.

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2012
If I could give 10 stars!!! This is by far the best Banana Bread recipe I have ever made. The only changes I made were: 2 more tsps of vanilla, and fat free sour cream. Yum Yum

Lemon Icing

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2012
I swear by lemon zest. If you are looking for a tart butter cream, this is your recipe if you add the zest of one lemon. I also added yellow food coloring.

Lemon Cream Cupcakes

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2012
Very yummy. I have a lemon lover in the house and these were perfect. I halved the recipe and still had too many cupcakes. I also added double the lemon zest to the cupcakes and the frosting along with yellow food coloring.

Double Chocolate Brownie Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2010
This cake was amazing. I used some changes from other reviews. The most important one is to find a cake mix without the pudding already in it, which was actually hard. Duncan Hines was the only brand I could find. I added a tsp of vanilla and used half the chocolate chips that were called for. I drizzled the cake with white buter cream frosting and also melted some semisweet chocolate, dipped some fresh strawberries for the garnish.

Mini Cheesecakes III

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2010
Really, Really Good!!! I have made these several times, once the exact recipe and they were really good. I used crushed oreos for the crust one time and did a fudge topping. And tonight I didn't have any lemons, I added a little more vanilla and they were still great. Amazing quick recipe.

Creamy Hot Cocoa

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2008
This really is the best hot cocoa ever!!! If you are thinking about leaving out a little sugar, think what kind've chocolate you like. I like sweeter chocolate more then bitter choclate. I left the recipe exactly as it reads and it turned out great. everyone in the house loved it.

very good, I will add more thickener next time, and I went with all brown sugar instead of half. Turned out really good though.

Very good, turned out perfect. Make sure you watch them though. one minute over and they get hard, better to have them under done than over done.

Country Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2008
Very tasty!!! I changed the garlic salt to garlic powder and added a little seasoned salt. The chicken turned out great though, and the really good thing was, the batter stayed attached to the chicken (this has always been my downfall with fried chicken).

Linda's Lasagna

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2008
This was a really great recipe. I was in a hurry tonight so I started my sauce base as a can of prego. I added one can of paste and one can of sauce, then the seasoning and extra minced garlic. It turned out great, everyone loved it in my house

Special Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2008
This was a great recipe for decorating cakes. I tested the texture before I put it in the frosting bag, make sure it is not too thick. This was a really good choice.
