White Chocolate, Chocolate Cookies

i also did half baking soda/ half baking powder. the texture turned out MUCH better on my 2nd batch, because the dough had been refridgerated over night. i'll do that next time too.

Curry Pumpkin Soup

really good and creamy. Sauted minced onions with the butter, used coconut milk instead of half-n-half, and added cumin. will make this again.

Twice-Cooked Coconut Shrimp

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2008
good recipe, but way too much salt - decreased to 1/4 tsp. also added 1/4 tsp curry powder and 1/4 tsp paprika - gave the batter a nice spice. reduced ice water to about 3/4 cup. dredged shrimp in flour before dipping in batter. didn't bother to bake afterward either.

Raisin Rye Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
Surprisingly great! Had no eggs or milk, so I tried this recipe. Good, lighter texture, and I used whole wheat flour. Instead of honey, I used a 1/2 tsp Stevia. Added some diced canned fruit in half of the muffins. Baked quick, and all yum!

Asian Turkey Barbecue on Sesame Scallion Toasts

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2008
made this with leftover turkey. we had this with rice, instead of on toast. the flavor of the turkey with barbeque does not go that well, in my opinion. my husband ate it, but also thought the flavors didn't mesh well.

Easy Herb Roasted Turkey

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2008
This turned out great and was very easy. I cooked it upside down for more moisture in the breast. Covered with foil. Then flipped over and took off the foil for the last 1/2 hour. Not so pretty, but tasted great.

Indian Chicken Curry II

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2008
good recipe for curry, but a little heavy on the curry flavor for us. next time, i'll use less curry, and be sure i add enough of the yogurt to calm it a bit.

Asian Tuna Patties

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2008
a tasty and different way to use tuna, but too salty for our liking. and i even used low sodium soy sauce! next time, maybe use less soy sauce & teriyaki??

A great easy dough - I just baked the rolls in a regular pan, side by side - til barely browned. Yum!

Asian Orange Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2007
Great Recipe, but you definitely don't need to add any more spice. Perfect as is. Like others, I waited to add the sauce to the chicken - a good idea to keep the breading intact. breaded it with half flour/half corn starch - made it crispier!
