Great recipe! The second time I made it, I substituted applesauce for butter and used whole wheat flour and soy milk. It was still very good and much less guilt free!

Topping was delicious - don't use OJ instead of water. I also used 1/2 white and 1/2 brown sugar.

5 Stars from my picky family! Brown rice and turkey sausage helps to keep it a little healthier - but a great recipe! I didn't have cajun seasoning, so I used the one from allrecipes.com.

Peach Cobbler II

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
After years of looking for the perfect cobbler - it's so nice to have found it! I was a little sceptical of pouring boiling water over the top - but it was perfect! I used 8 peached and 9 x 13 dish - but apart from that - I can't imagine doing anything diffent. A fabulous recipe!

A very easy recipe and everyone loved it! I'll make it again and again. I did use shredded parmesan cheese instead of grated, low fat bisquick and egg beaters to help with the caloric intake.

Never made pancakes this fluffy before!! I used WW flour, added 1/4 cup oat bran and 1/4 cup wheat germ. Used apple flavor yogurt instead of sour cream and egg substitute. Also doubled the recipe because they were eaten so fast!

Ian's Potato-Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2009
Good and easy recipe. I took suggestions and only used 3/4 tsp of salt. I cooked the potatoes then blended them before adding fresh (not frozen) vegtables. Colored peppers are a must! Because the potatoes were blended, there was no need to add cream of celery soup. I also added rosemary and doubled the recipe. The whole family loved it!

Big hit at a pot luck! I used velveta cheese with the cheddar cheese and half non fat milk with the evaporated milk. Didn't cook the noodles and they were fine. Everybody loved this recipe! Mine finished cooking in 2 hours.
