Restaurant-Quality Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
Holy cow! I'm impressed as was the rest of my family. Even my young children loved it! I used 3 baked potatoes instead of 2 but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. Fantastic!

Amish Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
Very good! I left out the onion and red bell pepper because I didn't have either. I cut the sugar to 1/4 cup per the other reviewers suggestions and got great reviews at the family dinner I took it to. I will be making this again. Thanks.

Refried Beans Without the Refry

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2008
Despite the reviews, I must admit I was a little skeptical. I couldn't have been more wrong! These were easy and fantastic. Picky hubby even agreed. I followed the advice of some of the other reviews and made a few changes. I used 1/2 pinto and 1/2 black beans, I left out the japalenos since we aren't fans, I used 4 cups chickens broth and 5 cups water so I used only 1 tsp. of salt and I also added approx. 1 tsp. of sugar and some chili powder too. I also used a hand mixer to get them nice and creamy. This good and this easy, I will definitely be making again soon. Thanks for the recipe. It's a keeper!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: May 28, 2008
Fantastic! I too use applesauce instead of the oil and last time I added grated squash too. I also cut the sugar down to 2 cups. The result is one moist and flavorful bread! You can't go wrong!

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: May 16, 2008
Love this! So good and so easy too! I followed the suggestions of some others. I leave the pork in the crockpot for 3 hours with the rootbeer. Then I drain it and shred the pork. I put in back in the crock pot, add the BBQ sauce and let it cook for 1 more hour. My hubby loves it!
