Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
People are NUTS for this recipe, everyone asks for it!! I made it for 20 guys on football sunday and i have been famous ever since :) I have probably made it 10 times since that day! I dont make the tortilla strips(we just crush up chips and sprinkle over the top), but it is still the most amazing tortilla soup recipe EVER! I make only a few changes-i skip the green chile peppers(so the kids can eat it too), and add black beans (drained). Thanks for an amazing recipe!

Hearts of Palm Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
This recipe was fantastic! I made only one change, which was cutting back on the olive oil, otherwise I did add artichoke hearts and cucumbers to my salad. Great summer meal - everyone LOVED it!!

Slow Cooker Tipsy Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2007
This was an awesome recipe, my whole family loved it - even the kids! I skipped the browning stage and just threw everything in the slow cooker and then served it over pasta. The flavor was REALLY great, however next time i will try adding more to it (artichoke hearts, maybe..) Dont be turned off by the end appearance, it does look a little upappealing but the taste makes up for it big time - Enjoy :)

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2007
I thought this soup was realy good and very easy, but if you dont like basil then this recipe is not for you. I made mine in my slow cooker (b/c i am addicted to using it:)- i put all the ingredients in the slow cooker except the half and half. I let it cook all day on low and then put 1/4 of the soup through the blender and then added the half and half before serving. Next time i think i will leave the basil as a garnish so everyone can chose how much they like according to their taste. Used the other recommended garnishes as well.

Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2007
I am by no means a "good cook" but i managed to get this recipe right - everyone loved it! It was so simple and easy and they loved the green pepper. I also halved the ketchup and used some bbq sauce - will definitely make again :)
