123 Green Tea Ice Cream

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2009
I was skeptical about this, especially since I got "green tea powder", not "matcha" at a chinese grocery store. But it worked out reeeeeally well.

Pizza Dough I

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2009
Really easy to make, spread it out thin and rolled cheese into the crust to make "stuffed crust". Was excellent! Thanks for such an easy recipe. EDIT: I now make this slightly differently. I proof the yeast first, and then let the dough rise for a half hour. I also add about a tsp of garlic powder and a tsp of italian seasoning. I split it in half and use a rolling pin and flour to get the perfect thin crust. I then bake for only 15 minutes. I also use one of those trays with the holes in it. Amazing results! I know this isn't the original recipe, and the original recipe was good but if you've got an extra half hour, then you can get great results. By the way, the other half I don't use, I put in the freezer. Comes out perfectly.

Cheese Fondue

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
This recipe was pretty great. Next time I will try rubbing the pot with garlic or adding a clove since I see a lot of recipes do that. I did have it in the pot for a long time, turned oily but that's to be expected with melted cheese. This makes ALOT!

Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2009
Made this without bacon (didn't have any) so just secured with toothpicks and wow! This is amazing, I simply wouldn't change a thing about the recipe. I love it.

Jenny's Black Forest Cake

Reviewed: May 7, 2009
I thought this cake was going to fail as it was really runny and took about 50 min. rather than 30 min. to cook. In the end, it seemed quite moist but once I put the cherry filling (with rasberry liquer!) and whipped cream into 3 layers (cut each cake half in two) and then on top of it. It was delicious!!!

This was a really good chicken dish. Not that spicy but that could be adjusted to taste.

Mama D's Italian Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2009
First off, I'm no expert in making bread. I made it once in high school and once in a bread machine. Many times I thought I'd messed this up, by not proofing correctly or overcooking. Just had a piece and it's heaven in my mouth! Great recipe, will make again for sure.

Toasted Garlic Bread

A solid recipe for garlic bread. I still prefer store bought, but this is cheaper and I know what's in it!

Potato Chips

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2009
One potato made one large plateful. Count on doing atleast 4 or 5 potatoes, since they are so delicious! They were so much better after being left to dry. My microwave took about 12+ minutes though.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2009
Like other reviewers, I baked the bottom of the pie empty for a few minutes. I also used corn instead of peas. Instead of salt, and celery seed (which I couldn't find), I just used a teaspoon of celery salt instead. I also added 1/4 tsp of garlic powder.

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2009
This smelled just right. I think it could be even spicier but some hot sauce could take care of that. I'm happy to find an MSG free solution as well. Thanks!

Carrot Burgers

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2010
Really great burgers. I also shredded my carrots and had no issues at all with them holding together. This made 4 burgers and 1 little one for us. Had them with all the fixings so tried a little piece on its own, delicious! Crispy on the outside and gooey in the middle. Will definitely make again.

Peanut Butter Noodles

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2010
Made half of this with one pack of udon, it was more than enough sauce. I didn't add the ginger since I didn't have any. It was a bit too salty, next time I would put less soy sauce in. It was excellent though.

Sesame Shrimp Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2012
This dish was restaurant quality, just amazing! I can't say how difficult it was since it was made for me, but I can say that he's tried other recipes on here and not done so well. We didn't have cornstarch so used a bit of white flour instead to thicken.

Strawberry Spinach Salad I

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2008
This was a really easy recipe. The dressing was great (although a bit pricey with all the seeds). Strawberries were a really nice touch, as were the almonds. However this was ALOT of sugar, cutting down on that doesn't cut any of the taste.

Hard to go wrong with delicious ingredients. All of the ingredients are delicious and when the fresh mozzarella melts on the chicken, it's scrumptious.

Also excellent to add pecans to this! And I used Aunt Jemima's pancake syrup instead of corn syrup, was excellent.
