Super-Delicious Zuppa Toscana

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2009
Today was too hot for soup, so I left out the broth and made it a creamy potato/sausage dish. YUM! We will be making this again!

Strawberry Cream Freeze: Serve it Your Way!

Reviewed: May 7, 2009
This is a yummy treat! We had fun making it. We forgot to add the strawberry topping and were glad, cuz it was a bit sweeter than we wanted. Extra strawberries, skipping the strawberry topping, and maybe even adding some extra cream cheese next time. We put it in cupcake papers in a muffin pan in the freezer...and also filled some little waffle cones and froze those as well. We love the 'cheesecake-y' treat that is so easy and it has fruit so it is healthy, right?

Pasta Fagioli Soup II

Reviewed: May 7, 2009
Oh YUM!!! I used a bit extra bacon and cooked the soup down so the flavors were a little stronger...way better than the Olive Garden soup which I remember as being pretty bland. Thank you for this recipe! I will use it often.

Play Dough Cookies

Very fun cookie project! Yes, it is a lot of work, but can you imagine how these will go over at a party or a bake sale? We are taking them to a sporting event and the kids will go nuts!

Old Fashioned Beef Stew

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2009
YUM! I like the flavor of the 'broth' part...of course I added a little extra of all the spices and it is really nice. My family likes a thick stew so I dredged the beef in flour and browned it, and added some corn starch toward the end. OH! And I was short on time so I made this on the stove instead of the slow cooker. Used half the meat...I really love how the allspice/Worcestershire/sugar/salt/bay leaf flavors the stew!

Shipwreck Stew

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2008
We loved this recipe! **we did have to cook it a lot longer than instructed though** I don't know what isn't to love about it--the ingredients are not fancy or anything, it is just a nice hardworking stew for a chilly autumn evening! We used brown rice and next time I think we will precook the rice, or maybe even barley? And we used sweet Yukon gold potatoes--yum! AND we paired it with the recipe for Butter-Dipped Biscuit Squares, which balanced out the high nutrition of the stew, LOL! Definitely going to use this one again.

Clone of a Cinnabon

This is a delicious treat! Thank you for providing the measurement for rolling out the dough--that helped me get them just right. Our daughter's water polo team devoured these in no time flat!
