Pumpkin Cake III

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2013
Very very good. Many other users stated they baked this in a 9x13 pan. I tried this and the middle was not done at all but the edges were getting way too dark so I took it out. I'm trying it again as the recipe suggests - in a sheet pan.

Classic Tiramisu

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2011
This is SO GOOD.....BUT.......Why did my filling turn out so goopy? It didn't set up - looks like pudding inside and it has refrigerated over 24 hours. What did I do wrong? :-(

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2011
This was SO good. I used lentils, white kidney beans, and pinto beans. I used two cans of chile's instead of the jalepenos and I used vegetable broth from concentrate. I simmered the onions, then added the raw, cut up pieces of chicken, chile's, garlic, and spices and cooked on low until the chicken was tender. I then added the remaining ingredients and let them simmer together for about a half hour. The rest I left as-is and - Wow!! I'm making it again tonight for a guest. So excited to eat it again!! Make this recipe, you and your guests will really love it. Great winter comfort food, indeed!

Island-Style Fried Rice

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
I used fish sauce instead of oyster sauce, 3 cloves garlic, fresh, and sliced thick ham. I would recommend the green onions cooking - not stirred in just prior to serving. Overall, it was very good. We're saving the leftovers and I'm thinking the flavors will blend together even more and it will be perfect tomorrow. Thanks for the recipe! Oh...and 2 cans of pineapple. If you're using canned then go with Dole. It really is superior.

Homemade Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2011
Wow. Soooooo good. Soooooo easy. I will be making more next time for leftovers. Yum, yum, yum. I only had 6 ripe roma tomatoes on hand, so I added a can of diced tomatoes and poured the rest of my cabernet sauvigion into the pan after the water, a couple more cloves of garlic, lots o fresh chopped basil....voila....restaurant-quality tomato basil sauce. YOU GOTTA MAKE THIS!

Best Marinara Sauce Yet 2

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2010
My picky family loved this. I'm going to make this again tonight and surprise them (I've had several requests since trying it out for the first time a few weeks ago). I used red sherry vinegar instead of the white wine. Turned out excellent.
