This was SO good. I used lentils, white kidney beans, and pinto beans. I used two cans of chile's instead of the jalepenos and I used vegetable broth from concentrate. I simmered the onions, then added the raw, cut up pieces of chicken, chile's, garlic, and spices and cooked on low until the chicken was tender. I then added the remaining ingredients and let them simmer together for about a half hour. The rest I left as-is and - Wow!! I'm making it again tonight for a guest. So excited to eat it again!! Make this recipe, you and your guests will really love it. Great winter comfort food, indeed!
