Gingerbread Men

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2007
Great recipe! I have been using this recipe for years now and I make these for my son's birthday. His former teachers start hounding him every year because they can't wait for me to send in "extras". They always turn out perfect and are easy to roll and cut. I decorate them with M&Ms and white icing. *You can use instant pudding mix but they're not quite as good.

Normal Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2007
Ewwww - this wasn't good at all. I knew it wouldn't be good with just the soy and worcestershire and so I followed the other recommendations and added 1/4 cup of brown sugar. Sauce tasted bad so I tried to "cover it" with soy sauce. It ended up edible - just not good.

One - Two - Three - Four Cake II

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2001
Excellent white cake recipe! After eating this, you'll never want to make another box cake mix again. I'm a novice cake baker and this was very easy to put together and very well worth it.

Chocolate Cream Passover Torte

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2001
Awesome Passover recipe - got rave reviews from my guests! This is delicious and looks beautiful. I shaved some bittersweet chocolate for the top and it looked like it came from a bakery. I'll definitely make this again.

Lemon Chicken II

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2001
The actual batter on this chicken was fine - I had a problem with the lemon sauce, though. I sliced up the lemon thinly and only used 1/2(with the rind on). The sauce had a terribly bitter taste - we couldn't even use it because the rind gave it such a strong taste. Maybe it would have been okay if I had peeled the lemon first. Not really worth the effort!

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2001
Excellent pork chop recipe. The whole family loved it (even my picky kids!) I used boneless chops and cut down the first baking time to 1/2 hour, then baked for an additional 1/2 hr after adding the soup mixture. They were perfectly moist and delicious. Will definitely make these again!!

Better Than Best Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2001
This chicken was delicious and had a great crust. My husband and kids loved it! One note - after soaking the chicken in the soup mix, I realized I probably could have used 1/2 a can of soup since I just threw the rest away. Also, I recommend pounding the chicken breasts thin- I had a little trouble getting them to cook through since mine were a bit too thick. Definitely will make this recipe again! A+
