100 Percent Whole Wheat Bread

I just made this using fresh milled flour in my nutrimill. I used hard white winter wheat berries. I didn't have any of the added grains but it was still delicious! To cut out fat I added 2 TBS of non-gmo lecithin granules instead of coconut oil. I also had to increase the water by 1 cup. I used half my dough for rolls and the other half for cinnamon rolls, a healthier version that is still delicious!

Carrot Cake III

Good taste, but it is more like bread than cake. Mine also sunk in in the middle, and I made sure not to overmix or undermix. It seems to dense to be a cake.

Plain Cake Doughnuts

These need to be rolled a little thicker and I also found them to be slightly salty. But they do taste very good, even 2 days old.. unlike yeast donuts that tend to taste very dry.

Crispy and Creamy Doughnuts

Followed the recipe exactly and these are perfect! Mine took 45 min to rise the first time, and 35 the second time. Its a cold snowy day so I set my oven to 170degrees, put the dough in to rise, and turned it off. Worked wonders both times! This is the best recipe, they almost melt in your mouth. So much for just eating one!

Chicken Milano

Wow!!! This was amazingly delicious. the best way to warm a belly in winter. The sundried tomatoes and fresh basil were delicious! I could've eaten 3 more plates of it if I wasn't dieting, lol

Dark Chocolate Cake I

I tried this recipe and the one bowl chocolate cake III recipe, and liked the latter better. This one turned out a less moist than I would've liked and a little less flavorful. Probably won't use it again but its a good basic chocolate cake. Just not my favorite.

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

These are just as described, RICH, dark and chocolatey!!! If you don't want a rich brownie, add less sugar or omit the chocolate chips. I made half a recipe in a8x8 pan for 35 min, and got very thick fudgy brownies. bake longer if you want a little chewier. I loved them!!!

Classic Bran Muffins

I made this recipe almost exactly as written, and thought the sugar could be decreased to 1/2 cup or even 1/3 cup. I used oil and loved the texture it gave. I did add some coconut and rolled oats.

Potato Bread III

I liked this recipe and it was very very yummy, but not the BEST i've ever had. Just a tad blan, but not much! I did double the potato it called for, but this made it a little more dense. I also got a little impatient after the 2nd rising and now think it would've been fluffier if i would've waited 40 min instead of 30 min.

Authentic French Meringues

These are the best tasting meringues i have tried. I chopped up chocolate and did end up with little sugar droplets coming out of the meringues. I researched and found that this is because the temperature was too high. I would suggest knocking the temp down to 180 with a spoon in. I whipped mine for 17minutes and don't think they turned out stiff enough. I think where mine messed up is the fact that i didn't beat the eggs whites alone long enough. I would suggest beating the egg whites till they are extremely foamy, not just a little, and then add the sugar a little at a time. I hope my mistakes help some of you!

Baked Pork Chops I

These were wonderful! I followed the advice of others and fried them till they were brown and crispy and then baked them for 35 minutes. I heated the gravy on the stove and poored over the pork chops so those who didn't want gravy didn't have to have it. I will definately make pork chops like this from now on!

Lemon Cake with Lemon Filling and Lemon Butter Frosting

The icing was wonderful and so was the icing, but I really didn't like the cake and am looking for a good homemade lemon cake recipe to replace this one. It turned out very dense and when I tried to layer the cake with the filling, it was so heavy the filling squished out!

Jam Filled Butter Cookies

OK, the first time i made these was my first year of marriage and i didn't know exactly how to bake, so i only gave them a 4 and they turned out flat, lol. I made these again and they were perfect!!! I think i had microwaved my butter to soften it last time... which is a no no! This time I left my butter out 2 hours and creamed it really well with the sugar. I also refrigerated mine 30 min and baked them 14-15 minutes on my pampered chef pan.

Cinnamon Hazelnut Biscotti

I made these for christmas and they were everyone's favorite! Very easy to make too. I doubled the cinnamon and used pecans instead of hazelnut, and drizzled with chocolate. They were wonderful!!!

Quick Yeast Rolls

I loved these rolls! I've had a hard time with other recipes getting my rolls to raise and be fluffy. These plumped right up. I was a little worried at first with how sticky the batter was, but I went ahead and spooned the dough into the muffin pan and they turned out great, and huge! I finally found a recipe I can make!
