Pesto Cheesy Chicken Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2009
This dish was awesome! My hubby and I ate all four chicken breasts in one sitting. The only changes I did, was to dip the chicken in egg and roll in Panko bread crumbs and sprinkle with garlic powder. I will definitely be making these again and again.

Sweet and Tangy Slow Cooker Bar-B-Q Pork

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2009
This dish was O.K. but it has alot of ingredients to it and I think it is much easier just adding a bottle of your favorite B-Q Sauce. I did not think it was that awesome to have to go through the trouble of mixing all the ingredients. Will probably not make again. Sorry

Smothered Mexican Lasagna

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2009
I have mixed thoughts on this recipe. I am only giving it three stars cause I did change alot of the recipe to suit my taste. I think there is way too much water for this recipe. I only used 1 cup. I think the diced tomatoes should be drained. I added a sm can of sliced olives and a can of refried beans. I also added colby jack cheese to two of the layers. I may try this again, but I will make some added changes.

Scallops Mascarpone

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2009
OMG this dish was "out of this world". I went back for seconds, it was so good!!! I love scallops and the combination of all ingredients together had a "dinner party" appearance. Will be making this again. I made the recipe exactly as written. No need to make any changes.......

Bacon Roll Ups II

Buffalo Chicken Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2009
I give these 10 stars. I made this dish for a NASCAR Party yesterday and they were gone in no time at all. I wished I had made more of them because there was not enough for everyone. I doubled the sauce and used Pepper Jack cheese. I also cheated and bought thin sliced chicken breasts to omit having to pound out regular chicken breasts. This dish took no time to make. Will definitely make again.

YUM, YUM, YUM! This was awesome, although I just happen to love asparagus. Always looking for new ways to cook it. This side dish was awesome.

Cheddar Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2009
We loved these potatoes and I have to say one thing, they are even better warmed up the next day! I used small red potatoes with skin on and added garlic powder and minced onion when preparing. I did use more sour cream than stated, but that is a personal preference. Great recipe for a change.

Chicken Gruyere with Sauteed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2009
My husband and I loved this recipe. We love gruyere cheese so this was a real treat for us. The chicken was very moist and the flavors blended nicely together. I followed the recipe to a "T". Will definitely make again.

Creamy Potato Pork Chop Bake

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2009
I thought this dish was excellent. So did my hubby. It was not watery as some had said nor was it dry. Here is what I did to change it up some. In olive oil with onion flakes and minced garlic I placed the pork chops in the pan with seasoning salt and peper. While they were browning up, I mixed together the shredded hash brown potatoes (30 oz)bag, can of cream of chicken, can of cream of celery, 1/4 cup milk, 1 cup sour cream, seasoning salt and pepper to taste, sprinkle of minced onion and garlic powder, 1 teaspoon basil, 1 can green beans and 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese. Placed in a 2 qt casserole dish and topped with chops. Baked for 1 hour and then added remaining cheese and french fried onions and baked an additional 10-15 mins. I will definitely make this again.

Baked Scallops

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2009
This dish was fantastic! I made this for dinner last night and my hubby and I devoured the scallops. I made the recipe exactly was written with the exception of using Italian Panko Bread Crumbs for the seasoned bread crumbs. This will definitely go in my rotation recipe file. Try it.....

Spicy Bean Salsa

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2009
This salsa is fabulous. After reading many of the reviews, I made the following changes. I used 2 Roma tomatoes vice the canned, I used chopped garlic vice garlic salt, frozen corn vice canned, and added fresh cilantro. There were six of us eating it and we ate the whole batch. This will definitely go into my recipe box for future gatherings. YUM......

Pizza Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2009
This is a very simple and fun dish to prepare. I followed the recipe to the letter except I added 1 lb of hamburg instead of 1/2 lb. I also added some extra sauce because I was afraid it would dry out. Great kid friendly recipe.

Simple Time Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2009
I tried this recipe last night and I thought it had a nice flavor to it. I followed the recipe to a "T". It was juicy, but the pork chops turned out tough to eat. Not sure what happened. This is the second recipe I have tried from this site and found the meat to be tough. The other recipe I tried was with chicken. I think I may need to find another store to buy my meat at.

Swiss Sherry Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2009
AWESOME! What a flavor this dish had. The sauce is absolutely wonderful. I followed the recipe to a "T" with the exception I used Cream of Mushroom with Roasted Garlic and Panko breadcrumbs for the crutons. My only negative thought for this recipe is - if you like dill, you need to add more or just do not bother to use at all. I did not taste the dill whatsoever in this dish. But it was still awesome......

Pepper Jelly Glazed Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2009
I made this for dinner last night and I was totally disappointed. I had high expectations for this recipe. I followed it to a "T" with the exception of using boneless chix breasts and sprinkling with onion flakes and garlic powder before adding the sauce. Baked for appx 45 mins. My problem was the chicken. It was tough to chew. I have never had chicken that was like leather. It was not dry so it was not overcooked and I know it was not undercooked. I do not know what went wrong. This will remain a mystery to me. If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate your comments. I rated as '4' because the taste was there and we really like the flavor. It was the texture of the meat....

DeeAnn's Cheesy Bacon Cabbage

This was very tasty and I will make it again. I have to admit, I was lazy and used shredded bagged cabbage which saved me time from having to shred by hand. YUM!

Roast Pork with Maple and Mustard Glaze

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
This roast was "out of this world". It is one of my favorites from this site. If I could give it 10 stars I would. I made the recipe as stated with the exception that my roast was 3 1/2 lbs and I cooked it on high in my crockpot for 4 hours. I removed the meat, which fell apart, out of the pot onto a plate and covered with foil. I then took the juice and added cornstarch to thicken the gravy. YUM YUM. THANK YOU Christine L. for the fabulous recipe. Will definitely make again.

Garlic Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2009
Wow! I have to say I was a little hesitant to try this recipe, but I was looking for something different so I decided to try it. It was really excellent and very tasty. The only change I made was to use 3/4 stick of butter and added 1/2 teaspoon of thyme. Also I did not measure the Parmesan Cheese that I had sprinkled on the top. Will definitely make again.

Warm Crab Parmesan Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2008
I ended up throwing this dip away because the crab overpowered the dip. It was much to fishy tasting for me and my guests. I am rating it as 5 because if I had used immitation crab or crab legs from the Seafood Dept of the store, this would have been awesome. I blame the awful taste on my choice of lump crabmeat that I bought. I did use 1/2 cup mayo, fresh ground pepper, a few drops of hot sauce, a sprinkle of Old Bay and a splash of Worcestershire Sauce. I will be making this again for the holiday season.
