Mary's Roasted Red Pepper Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2009
This was a big hit at the get together I attended last night. Everyone commented on it. I took other people's advice and used only 3/4 cup of mayo, added a sprinkle of hot sauce and crushed red pepper. Next time I will try adding horseradish to give it real zip. Sprinkled parmesan cheese on top. Will go in my favorites.

Spicy Seafood Shell Appetizers

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2009
These tasty treats were really good. I followed other's suggestion using some Old Bay Seasoning and crushed red pepper. Be sure to use fresh crabmeat and shrimp, not canned. It makes a nice presentation to any buffet.

Black and White Pizza

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2009
This recipe was good but I felt it was missing something. It did not have the zip I thought it would have. I will make again and try adding minced onions to see if I can up the flavor.

Apricot-Glazed Green Beans

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2009
This recipe did not WOW me. I was disappointed because I thought is sounded so tasty. I rated it four because the sauce was really good, but I used fresh steamed green beans and I thought the green bean taste overpowered the sauce. I will make this sauce using carrots which I think will be much more flavorful.

Loved this recipe. I am the only one in the household who will eat cauliflower, but I wanted to try it because it sounded so good. I was not disappointed. Will make again.

Roasted Vegetables

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2009
Really enjoyed this recipe. I added some minced garlic to the dish for added flavor. It makes alot for two people, so you may want to cut the recipe down unless you are having company. Will make again.

Super Summer Salsa

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2009
What a nice refreshing dish this was. I served it at a party last night and everyone really enjoyed it. I did use only 1/4 cup of sugar, per other reviewers statements and used red wine vinegar, that's what I had on hand. Will definitely make again, and again.

I served these last night at a party and they were a big hit! They were gobbled up immediately. I did not change the recipe at all. They were awesome! Will be making again.

Chicken Tetrazzini IV

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2009
I made this dish for dinner the other night and my hubby and I really enjoyed it. I did make changes according to other reviewers such as using fresh mushrooms, I added seasoning salt, minced garlic, minced onion and added frozen peas. I also added basil to give a little more flavor. Basil is a favorite in my household. I sprinkled with grated parmesan and Italian Panko Bread Crumbs. Will make again.

Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Stuffed with Spinach and Ricotta

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
Very tasty, Made this dish for dinner last night and we really enjoyed the various flavors that were blended together. I actually made the recipe as stated with the exception of using garlic power instead of garlic salt and onion flakes instead of powder. Other than these two minor changes, kept the recipe as written. Will go in my rotation file.

Scored Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
Loved these potatoes. I did use more butter than the original recipe as I basted the tops and wanted the butter to drizzle into the slices of the potatoes. I used seasoning salt instead of regular salt and sprinkled grated parmesan cheese on the top towards the end of the baking time. Will definitely make again.

Roasted Asparagus with Herbes de Provence

One word - DELISH! Made this side dish last night and how tasty it was. Reading other reviews, I only used 1 teaspoon dried Herbes de Provence and I felt that was plenty. Will definitely make again.

Pork Tenderloin with Dijon Marsala Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2009
FABULOUS!!! Only way I can describe it. It was soooo tender and juicy and I loved the sauce! I made this according to the recipe with the exception of using white wine because I thought I had Marsala and I couldn't find it. Will definitely try again with the Marsala.....

Chicken Breast Stuffed with Spinach Blue Cheese and Bacon

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2009
This dish was absolutely delish! I did make several changes after reading many of the reviews. I used fresh spinach, added mushrooms, garlic, oregano and basil. I used feta cheese, it is what I had on hand. I added 4 oz. of Alouette Garlic and Herb cheese spread to the spinach mixture. Placed the bacon slice on top of chicken and cooked at 375 for 30 mins plus. This will go into my rotation list.

Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2009
OMG!!! My hubby and I thought this dish was outstanding. I followed the recipe to the letter with the exception of sprinkling seasoning salt, garlic powder and pepper over the top of the chicken prior to adding the bacon. The bacon cooked perfectly. I used thin sliced bacon so I think that helped in it making sure it was crispy. I will definitely make this again.

Uglies

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
I made this recipe for company yesterday and everyone really liked them. I used Grands bisquits and cut them in half and formed into mini cupcake tins. I had made the hamburg mixture the day before and just filled the cups when I was ready to bake. Next time I will use regular bisquits because the Grands are to big and I think the cups will work better using less bisquit. Will definitely make again
