Hot Spinach and Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: May 24, 2009
Great recipe! The only change I made was to use real bacon pieces by Hormel instead of regular bacon to save time. I made it the night before and only had to microwave it the next day to serve. Very tasty and will make again.

BLT Pasta Salad

Reviewed: May 24, 2009
This recipe got rave reviews and I was asked for the recipe many times. It was really tasty. I used mini wagon wheel pasta, chopped the bacon into pieces before frying, used regular Ranch dressing and I used a red onion. I also added about I cup of shredded cheddar cheese and precut shredded lettuce. This is a keeper. As a time saver, I cooked the pasta the night before and mixed with a little olive oil to prevent sticking. The next morning I just added all the remaining ingredients except for the lettuce. I left that to a person's descretion.

Cheesy Ranch Potato Bake

Reviewed: May 24, 2009
I brought this dish to a BBQ this weekend and it was a big hit. I made this recipe the day before and divided into two dishes instead of one large one. I put one dish in the microwave to warm and served. The dish was empty in no time. I did make a few changes per other reviewers. I used red potatoes, seasoning salt, mexican cheese mix, added sauteed onion, bacon and garlic powder. I used "I Can't Believe It's Butter", sprayed the potatoes and mixed everything together. Used one can of French Fried Onions on the top and cooked for 45 mins, covered. Uncovered and cooked an additional 5 mins. Yummy!

Anne's Hot Ham and Swiss Dip

Reviewed: May 24, 2009
This dip was really good. Everyone commented on it. The only changes I made which were really slight, was to use a can of roasted garlic mushroom soup and used french bread for dipping instead of cocktail rye bread. Will make again. One note - I did not think this dish was too salty and I am not a salt user.

Grilled Marinated Shrimp

Reviewed: May 24, 2009
Great recipe! I made these for a cookout this weekend and they were gone as soon as I put them down on the table. Everyone was grabbing them as fast as can be. I made the recipe as stated. This is awesome, thanks Robbie. I think I will try mixing up with scallops next time. YUM!

Garlic Cheese Chicken Rollups

Reviewed: May 20, 2009
Oh my gosh! These rollups were sooo delicious. I made 5 of them and my husband and I devoured them. I usee 1 T. of Alouette Garlic and Herbs Spreadable Cheese for each rollup. I will definitely keep this recipe for my rotation. Thanks Wendy...

Hot Clam Dip II

Reviewed: May 11, 2009
Awesome! Made this dip for a Mother's Day cookout and everyone raved about it. I made the recipe as written except I added some sprinkled garlic powder to it. I couldn't toast bread fast enough to serve with it. It is a keeper!

Baked Potato Casserole

Reviewed: May 11, 2009
One word to describe - AWESOME! I took this side dish to a Mother's Day cookout and it was a real crowd pleaser. The only change I made was to use real bacon pieces from a jar (2) and I cut the chedder and sharp cheddar to 2 cups each. That was plenty of cheese for this dish. Even my fussy nephew gave me a "thumb's up". Will definitely make again.

Mushroom Sauce Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: May 4, 2009
I was totally disappointed with this dish. The chops were tough and tasteless. My potatoes turned out perfect because I sliced them real fine and put in the micro for five minutes. I added green beans to make a one dish meal, but I ended up throwing most of it away. My husband who will eat anything didn't finish his dinner. The concept is good but definitely needs work. Will not be making again.

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2009
I thought this recipe was pretty good. I was afraid it would not have alot of taste because the ingredients sounded rather bland. I added some garlic powder and seasoning salt to the mixture. I also added some french fried onions to the top of the casserole to give it some crunch. Hubby really enjoyed this.

Slow Cooker Ham

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2009
This dish was so easy to make. I had only a 5 lb spiral ham so I cut down on the brown sugar. That was a mistake. I should have used the whole 2 cups. I also added a can of chunk pineapple. Cooked on low for 5 hours. Next time I will try 4 hours as I think I cooked it too long and it made the ham a little tough. Will do again.

Balsamic Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2009
This was a nice change for a side dish of potatoes. I omitted step 1 per other reviewers and just mixed everything together. Baked at 450 for 30+ mins, covered. My only thought for next time is to add more balsamic vinegar for the taste. I did not think that the balsamic vinegar overpowered the dish at all. Will make again.

Cheesy Creamed Spinach

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2009
This spinach dish was fantastic. My hubby who will not eat spinach without vinegar on it stated it was delicious and did not need the vinegar. This is a PLUS for me. I will definitely make this again and again....

Acorn Squash

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2009
This squash was very tasty. My hubby loved it. I made it as written and my only problem was I had cooked it for 30 mins covered and 30 mins uncovered and it still was not done. It was not a large acorn squash, so not sure what I did wrong. I had to cook an additional 15 mins plus.

Hot Mexican Spinach Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2009
I served this dip last night to some company I had over. Everyone raved about it and it was gone in no time. I will definitely be serving this in the near future. I followed other reviewers comments: used hot salsa and omitted the evaporated milk (not needed). I had some crusty bread that I cut into serving pieces and also served with FritoLay scoops. Definitely a keeper...

Drop Biscuits and Gravy

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2009
My husband and I had traveled to VA. for a cheering tournament to watch our niece compete in and we stayed at a hotel where they made the biscuits and gravy for breakfast. My husband loved them so when we got home and went right to this site to look for a recipe. I found this one and I tried it! It was awesome. I used Jimmy Dean sausage and doubled the gravy mixture. Will definitely add to my rotation list. Yummy......

Chicken Spaghetti Casserole I

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2009
This recipe was very tasty. I did add a can of cream of chicken with the can of mushroom soup, added corn, sliced mushrooms, and a can of drained Rotel diced tomatoes (mild). I sprinkled with Parmesan cheese on top, baked in oven, covered for 15 mins and uncovered during last fifteen mins. Will definitely make again.

Lobster Mornay Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2009
Very disappointed with this recipe. This picture made it look so tempting, but the outcome was lacking taste. Even my husband who is not a picky eater said it lacked something. Sorry, will not make again.

Stuffed Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2009
Absolutely 10 stars! Best recipe I have tried on this site yet...I did a few changes per other reviews suggestions. I cooked at 325 for 2 hours. Uncovered during last 15 mins. I seasoned chops with garlic powder, salt & pepper before browning. I used 2" pork chops and cut a pocket to add some of the stuffing mix. Put the remaining of stuffing on the top of the chops and added sauce to the top. I also used Pepperidge Farms small cubed bread crumbs and milk instead of water. They were not soggy nor were they dry. These were the BEST I have ever had! You have to try it....
