Hot Pizza Dip

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2009
This dip was delicious. The only addition I made was to add some garlic powder to the cream cheese mixture. I did change the amount used of some of the ingredients because of other comments. I used 1/4 t. oregano and 1/2 t. basil. Just the right mix. I only used appx 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese and grated parmesan cheese. I used 1/2 lg. green pepper and one small can of black olives. I did bake it in the oven at 350 for 20 mins and reheated it in the micro. I also put the pepperoni in the micro for 30 seconds prior to placing on top of dip. Everyone really liked this dish and wanted the recipe. Will make again.

Tortellini Alfredo

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2009
This dish was just O.K. to me. I pretty much followed the recipe with the exception of adding some minced garlic. I just felt this dish did not have much flavor to it. It needs something to give it some zip.

Delicious Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2009
This recipe was just O.K. for me. I did add another cup of rice per other comments. I also added basil and oregano for some flavor. I added frozen corn and cheddar cheese to the top of the dish. I feel the rice made the dish bland. I may try with egg noodles next time to see if I can enhance the flavor.

Buffalo Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2009
First - let me say that this is really delicious! Everyone who tried it loved it. I had two different recipes I was using and took some ingredients from each recipe. I did not use any butter, used 2 T. olive oil. I did not use chili powder or ground cumin, just used 1 T. smoked paprika. Used 1 can chicken stock, used X-tra hot Frank's Buffalo Wing Sauce, 1 can tomato sauce and 1 can Mexican Stewed tomatoes. This is so easy to make and very tasty. Everything else was the same. Will definitely make again.

Amish Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2009
I was worried about the taste because of the different ingredients used, but I was very surprised by the flavor of this dish. It was really good and I got many positive comments. The changes I made per other reviewers were: used one box of small sea shell pasta, added one extra egg, only used 1/4 cup sugar, used cider vinegar vice white vinegar and added a dash of pepper. Since I added so much pasta, I think I should have doubled the sauce as it was a little dry. I prefer to have a more creamy macaroni salad. Will be making again for the 4th of July cookout.

Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2009
My Hb and I totally LOVED this dish. What flavor it had. I used 4 asparagus per each slice of prosciutto with chive and onion cream cheese. I found the more cream cheese used, it helped decrease the saltiness of the meat. Cooked at 400 degrees for 15 mins. because I was making Gouda and Spinach Stuffed Pork Chops from this site. I did not blanch the asparagus - no need. They came out perfect. Will definitely make again and again.

These Pork Chops were fantastic. I made them for dinner last night and hubby ate two of them. I loved the flavor. I used Italian Panko B/Cs and I did not have horseradish mustard so I used 2T. horseradish and 2T. Dijon mustard and mixed together. Delish!!!

Cheddar Ranch Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2009
Made this dip for Father's Day and it was a hit! I did not make any changes to the recipe because I wanted to rate the dip as written. I did find it a little salty, but not overly powering. I will make again and add maybe 3/4 pkg of the ranch dressing mix.

Tammy's Philly Cheese Steak Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2009
I made this dip for a cookout. I did not make any changes to the recipe. I thought it was very good. The only negative thought I have is that you need to eat it immediately while it is hot because once the cheese congeals, it is hard to eat. Served it with french bread.

I tried this recipe for a BBQ and it was really very tasty. I used black olives instead of green. I added cherry tomatoes, red onion and grilled chicken pieces. I omitted the broccoli because hubby does not like it. It was a hearty meal. My hubby really like this dish.

Avocado, Tomato and Mango Salsa

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2009
I made this salsa for a Bday party for my brother-in-law and it was a big hit. I had never used a mango before and it was quite a feat for me to peel and dice. Now that I know how to prepare a mango, it will take alot less time. I used 2 mangos and 2 avocados. Everything else remained the same. Everyone wanted the recipe. Will definitely make again.

I served this salad last night for a B-day party for my brother-in-law. This salad is really delicious. The only change I made was to use red onion instead of the green, just my preference. I loved the crunch of the ramen noodles and walnuts. Everyone requested the recipe. Will definitely make again.
