Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2013
This recipe was just O.K. for me. Nothing stood out on this dish to make it something I would try again. I did sub taco cheese for the cheddar because that is what I had on hand. Probably will not make this recipe again.

Fettuccine Alfredo IV

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2013
This recipe was just O.K. for me. I felt something was missing but I couldn't put my finger on it. I think the concept was good, but I will keep looking for another alfredo recipe.

Angel Hair Pasta with Garlic Shrimp and Broccoli

This dish is full of flavor and I could not stop eating it. I think next time I will try it with scallops. I used baby spinach in place of the broccoli because that is what I had on hand.

Pesto Chicken Florentine

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2013
Tried this recipe last week and it was a big hit! I did change it slightly cause I had scallops I wanted to try instead of the chicken. I am sure the chicken would be just a delicious. The only other change I made was to use a jar of alfredo per other reviewers. Awesome...

My Special Shrimp Scampi Florentine

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2013
Tried this dish last week and I wanted to make sure I rated it because it was so delicious! I followed the directions to a "T". I served the meal with some dinner rolls. When my husband and I were done eating, there was no food leftover. Will definitely make this dish again. YUM!

Meatball Nirvana

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2013
I had some ground beef I needed to use up and found this recipe so I decided to try it. I did not use the Italian seasoning or oregano because I used Italian Style Panko Breadcrumbs. I only used 1/2 onion cause mine was large. I also used regular milk because I did not have skim milk. The flavor was very tasty but I thought the meatballs were a little dry. I think using an egg vs. the milk would have improved this recipe. Will try at a later date.

Swanson® Black Bean, Corn and Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2013
I had a pound of ground turkey I needed to use up and found this recipe on your site and decided to try it. It was very tasty and so easy to make. It was ready in no time. Did not make any changes, but dh said it could have used a little more heat, so maybe next time I will add some hot sauce or red pepper flakes.

Cathy's Creamy Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2013
I has some chicken breasts that I needed to use up so I found this recipe and decided to try it. I sure am glad I did. The dh loved the crunch of the stuffing mix and asked to have this recipe again. I did not have swiss cheese so I use provolone, I used a can of cream of chicken and mushroom soup and added garlic powder to the chicken. This dish was so fast and easy to make. Will definitely make again.

Dinah's Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2013
Tried this recipe as an appetizer for Easter and the dish was a big hit! I think all the flavors went together beautifully. I did decrease the amount of butter used by half, did not use a bell pepper, no parsley or Italian seasoning because I used Italian style panko bread crumbs. I also used sliced mozz. cheese in place of shredded. I just cut the slice to fit the top of the mushrooms. Will be making again. My only complaint was that I had alot of juice in the pan once they were done cooking, which I poured out so as not to make the mushrooms soggy.

Oven Roasted Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2013
This recipe was absolutely delicious. Followed the recipe to a "T" with the exception of using boneless, skinless thighs and brown sugar for the splenda. Makes for great leftovers to munch on. Will be making this dish again. Maybe place in a crockpot and take to a party. YUM....

Mexican Bean and Rice Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2012
I made this salad over the weekend for family and friends. I got mixed reviews from everyone, but mostly positive. I think for people that are not fond of lime will not like this salad. The changes I made were: 2 1/2 cups orzo, used pinto instead of kidney beans, I used a one pound container of Pico de Gallo for all the other ingredients and I used Paul Newman's Lite Lime salad dressing. Very refreshing salad.

Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2012
This salad was rated as "delicious" by my guests. I did have to use chicken instead of bacon, because some of my guests only eat chicken and fish. I also used grape tomatoes, one packet of dry ranch salad dressing mix, and one cup milk instead of 1/2 cup. The salad did not dry out and was better the next day. Can't wait to try it with bacon.

Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

This recipe was delicious and full of flavor, but I thought it was a little watery. I followed the recipe as written with the exception of using Pam to spray the dish and not using oil. I would not hesitate to make this again.

Best Ever Sausage with Peppers, Onions, and Beer!

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2012
This recipe was O.K. but I probably will not make this again. I think using 3 T. of olive oil is way too much and caused spattering of oil all over the place including on me. I used a non stick pan so I did not have any blackened bits to scrap from the pan. Once I completed browning the sausage, I just placed everything in the slow cooker for four hours. With the leftovers, I removed the sausage, cut into bite size pieces, onion and peppers from the sauce and added a jar of pasta sauce to serve over spaghetti. This got rave reviews.

Pork Marsala

Reviewed: May 22, 2012
One word - DELICIOUS! Made this for dinner last night and my DH and I ate all six thin chops. I do not usually fry food but I really wanted to try this recipe. It is very easy to make and your meal will be on the table in a matter of minutes. The only change I made was to not use any salt but followed the recipe to a "T" the rest of the way. Would definitely make this again. Thanks Junnieann for the marvelous recipe.

Mexican-Style Goulash

Reviewed: May 17, 2012
I made this recipe for dinner last night and we really enjoyed the flavor of this meal. It was really easy to prepare and is great for a busy night during the week. I made a few changes per reviews that I read. I had sea shell macaroni already made so I used that. I cooked the beef and onion until meat was no longer pink and drained. I added the following: Rotel diced tomatoes, canned southwestern corn, tomato sauce, 1/4 cup water, black beans and pasta. I did not measure any of the added ingredients such as: dash of sugar, sprinkles chili powder, oregano, salt, pepper, cumin, garlic, basil and worcestershire sauce. Simmered for appx 10 mins to meld flavors and served with shredded Cheddar cheese. YUM....
