Marinated Baked Pork Chops
Oh wow!!! We were iced in and I had everything cut up and ready to make pork chops with mushroom gravy (you know the one with cream of mushroom soup) and realized I didn't have any... so I tried this... my 3 year old who doesn't eat much at one time ate 2 and the ones I had were 1.5" thick! The ONLY thing I did different (and only because I already had it cut up) was add mushrooms, garlic and onions.I sauteed them with the second half of the marinade and put that on top for the last 20 minutes. I did dump out most of the stuff from the first half. Also, I strongly suggest at least doubling the recipe! I had 5 1.5" chops (thick but not bone in so kind of small) and I doubled it and had just enough to have some with on rice.

Marinated Flank Steak
DEHYDRATE THIS!!!! And cook it as directed too! Ok, I've been using this marinade for a while but never posted a review because I reduced the amount of oil to 1/4c (followed the rest completely) from the get go (not fair to review if I didn't follow to a T) so anyways.... I put my steak in the marinade 3 days ago and this morning thought... I really should cook that (but I'm pregnant and the steak just didn't sound appealing to me today) so I wondered what I should do with it as freezing it was pretty much out of the question at this point. I dehydrated it! OMG!! I'm probably going to finish it all by myself before my husband gets home! (maybe i'll save him ONE piece)Because I did use oil in it, it came out a tad oily so I'll reduce it to 1T next time.

Slow Cooker Taco Soup
I make this at the very least monthly! I usually just use whatever beans and tomato products I have on hand the only thing I deviate from the recipe on is the taco seasoning (and I do sprinkle it on the beef while cooking it) I use a recipe from this site that makes it taste completely different than if I used a packaged one. I always have all of the ingredients on hand and I usually make 4 or so batches of the seasoning at a time when I make it.
