Broccoli with Rigatoni

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2012
I REALLY wanted to like this, and I followed the recipe to a T and it was easy, but it turned out amazingly bland saved only by adding WAY more parm in addition to a ton of salt & pepper. Sorry, not gonna try again.

Chicken and Dumplings III

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2011
I followed this recipe exactly as stated and was really disappointed. It came out extremely salty. And it barely fed two adults. Will be trying another version next time.

Shepherd's Pie VI

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
Tried this recipe for the first time tonight, after reading all the glowing reviews. I followed the recipe to a T. I have to say, it was decent, but definitely doesn't deserve 5 stars. There was a big something missing in the taste department. It was just really bland. Not bad, just BLAND. I think next time I will add the worcheshire sauce like everybody suggested.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
Really disappointed with this recipe since it had such great reviews. Made it almost exactly like the recipe, except I didn't have saltines so I used breadcrumbs. Took 2.5 hours to FINALLY cook and it was WAAAAAAAAAAAY too sweet. Couldn't taste anything but the sugar. Will be trying something else from now on.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2010
I've been using this recipe for more than 3 years. My family and friends LOVE it and I am asked for the recipe habitually. It is PERFECT as is. Not dry at all...in fact I usually have plenty of sauce left over. I have a feeling most people miss that it says 1 AND 3/4 cups broth. I almost always make 2 pies because everybody comes back for 2nds and 3rds, and I do use a deep dish pie crust. Don't change a thing! Happy cooking!

Thyme Green Beans with Almonds

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2008
A great spin on an old classic. This is super easy and is a very tasty side dish. And if made with EVOO insead of butter it's really healthy and you can't taste the difference. The thyme was a nice touch with the almonds.

Easy Red Beans and Rice

It was ok. Try it without the bell pepper. It gave it a weird taste.

Quick and Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2007
Excellent! Takes just like homemade. I sauteed the carrots too so they would be softer. My husband scarfed it down. The recipe made just enough for 2 so if you have guests I would double or triple it.
