Beer Cheese Dip I

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2007
My mother used to make one similiar to this. Use Wise Spread cheese instead. Sautee the garlic. and start with 1/4 cup beer. Keep adding until you get the consistency and taste that you want. That way it won't be to messy or runny at all. Also when we make it we put it in a round pumpernickle loaf. We hollow it out, fill it with the dip and put the top back on. You can tear off pieces of the loaf and dip it or you can cut up some italian bread. While also using the inside of the loaf that you took out as well for dipping.

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2007
Delicious frosting. I did make it a little less cream cheesy by adding 1/4 cup extra sugar. I put it on a banana bread cake and it was delicious. Make sure you serve it though when the cake is cold. Put it in the fridge for awhile after you make it. The frosting gets the best flavor when its cold. (Make sure you put it on the cake first though, the frosting will harden up.)

Hot Chicken Wing Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2007
I made this Dip for an appetizer on thanksgiving. It was delicious. I do have one tip though. If your going to make it the night before to save oven space don't put the cheese on yet. Make the main part of the dip, put it away and then add the cheese on top the day your going to serve it.(Microwave it if you can't use the oven.) I wasn't thinking and I cooked it all the night before. The cheese was VERY hard, but the dip underneath was good. I think it would have been the best dip ever if the cheese was melted right before. Oh and DON'T add the full amount of hot sauce. I used half of what the recipe called for and it was spicy enough.

Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2007
I made these pancakes for the family. They made more pancakes than I could even imagine. The first time I made them I put the amount of baking soda it calls for. I felt like it had the baking soda after taste. So now when I make them I add 1 T.Baking soda and 1 tsp. Baking soda. Rather than 2 T. They are so fluffy and so wonderful. Best pancakes ever.
