Golden Sweet Cornbread

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2010
This is REALLY good, and super easy. I made one slight modification. I used 1/3 white sugar, and 1/3 splenda. I didn't have veggie oil, so I used canola.

5 Minute Microwave Cornbread

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2010
For out of a microwave, it's not bad. Good flavor, but it's not quite the same as when made in an oven.

Smooth Sweet Tea

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2009
I never knew about the baking soda trick. I will never NOT use that again. EXCELLENT tea. I have tried with different brands of tea. I prefer it with Lipton.

Turkey Loaf

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2009
This was pretty good! This was the first time I've ever used ground turkey. I was looking for a recipe with simple ingredients, and easy to make. I had everything I needed on hand. I followed the recipe to the letter, and it was pretty yummy. A tad dry, next time I may add another egg, or cut back on the bread crumbs a little.

Czech Roast Pork

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
This is an outstanding recipe! I chose to make it in my Nesco 6 quart roasting oven. Because of this the cooking time changed a little. I started it at around 250 degrees. Flipped it over after the hour, then turned the heat up to 350. After about an hour I started checking it with the meat thermometer. Within an hour it was around 155. We weren't ready to eat yet, so I turned the temp down to 200 and let it go for another 20 minutes. When I checked it again the temp was around 175. I then pulled the roast out an let it sit while I made the gravy according to the directions. My husband said this was the best pork roast he's ever had. I only used 2 medium sized onions
