Perfect Berry Shortcakes

Reviewed: May 24, 2013
Excellent. No recipes adjustments needed. I like a lot of shortbread with my berries, so this recipe only yielded 4 shortcakes... but that's just me.

Creamy Lime Chiller

Really easy and refreshing. This will be a staple in our house this summer. Would welcome ideas to cut down on the sweetness and make it a little more tart.

Vietnamese Sandwich

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2010
Marinated the onions, cucumbers and carrots per lovewanthate1491's recommendation and loved it. Doesn't need the carrots, but adds a nice texture.

Bright, crispy and tasty. Substituted cilantro for basil for a more southwestern taste.

Used the changes listed by gneebeanie and this was the best carrot cake I'd ever had. My 10-year-old even requested it for his birthday celebration!

White Chocolate Fruit Tart

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2010
I assisted my 9-year-old with this recipe and he did a wonderful job. Very easy and he really enjoyed taking the time to choose the fruit placement. He really loved the fact that he could lick the bowls throughout the preparation. Bonus: It is delicious!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2009
I substituted a can of pie filling blueberries (drained and rinsed) and reduced the milk a little bit. I used Chef Joy's topping recipe and applied liberally. My family likes muffin tops, so I poured 1/4 cup blobs on parchment paper-covered cookie sheet and baked for 17 minutes.
