Balsamic Bruschetta

Tortillas II

Simple. Yummy. NO PRESERVATIVES! Rolled them out between plastic wrap, and placed them immediately after cooking into a plastic bag. I'm not a fan of plastic, but I got the results I was hoping for. Mission Tortillas can chalk off another customer!

Soft Sandwich Buns

Perfect! I don't have a bread machine, so I had to do it all by hand, and they still came out splendid. In fact the guest that I served had no idea that they were homemade! They thought they came from the deli.

Blue Cheese Ball

I made the mistake of skeptically making 1/2 the recipe. This error left my husband and I standing at the counter, weilding individual butter knives for the last smidgen of cheese ball on the plate! Love this recipe! I will always make the full recipe from now on!

Kalacs (Hungarian Cinnamon Swirl Bread)

The only thing that should change about this recipe is the use of "stars" for rating. It should be little pants. How many pant sizes do you think you'll go up after making this recipe! If you make it once, you WILL make it again, and again, and again. DELICIOUS! I made it for dinner, and my husband has already called dibs on the remaining slices for his breakfast.

Chicken Paprikash II

PHENOMINAL! Never had or made this dish before. Had to make a Hungarian dish for a Geography Fair. So easy to make, and So VERY yummy! I used Hungarian Paprika...and it's true....the more you use...the better it tastes. I did use cubed chicken breast, only because this was for a buffet dinner with 75 people. It was very good, but I'm sure using bone in chicken will be even better.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

SPECTACULAR! I make this recipe generally once a week. I make the dough in the morning, let it rise ONCE toss it into a loose plastic bag and put it in the refrigerator, for use that evening. I might have to punch it once during the day. I use it as a substitute for bread stick dough too.

Oh Sweet Mama of Minnie Pearl! This recipe is THE recipe to have. I EXPECTED it to be good...but not beat Aunt Annies. After all who can possibly beat Aunt Annies? YOU CAN!!! Make this recipe. I put ranch powder and garlic powder on some of mine!!!! Oh My!

This recipe is absolutely FANTABULOUS!!! My family asks me to make this for EVERY get together. If you like your bacon crispy, don't add it until you are ready to serve, otherwise let all the other flavors get to know each other!

Chicken Florentine Casserole

Awesome! I will admit that I cheated. I used a jar of Alfredo sauce instead of using the heavy cream and cheeses. I also sauted fresh spinach instead of using canned. Hubby loved it.

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

FANTABULOUS! I did dredge the chicken in flour prior too and it turned out perfect! Personally if I was making it for just me, I would make it sweeter. Hubby on the other hand doesn't like sweet food....so I give it a thumbs up-just the way it is.

Ranch Ham Roll-Ups

Made these to take on a beach picnic. I made them the night before, and put them in baggies. The didn't get soggy like sandwiches tend to do, and their flavor was incredible. I did add some shredded cheddar to the cream cheese mix--AWESOME!

Exactly what I was looking for! We all know how American's love their sugar, so of course I did add 1/2 Tbsp more of sugar. I didn't have sherry, so I added a little orange juice instead. I'm sure it's even better with the sherry.

Marinated Ranch Broiled Chicken

Oh my gosh! I've used this recipe for years. I first learned about it on the back of Hidden Valley Ranch. I saw it once, and never saw it again. Luckily it is easy to remember. THE BEST RECIPE!!! I boost the Red Wine Vingar just to add a little zing....otherwise, it is perfect.
