Thai Noodle Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2008
I thought the sauce was fantastic. To cut down on prep, I used a bagged shredded cabbage, same for the shredded carrots. Also, I left out the green onion and shrimp (food allergies). I will make this again.

Crisp Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2008
Easy recipe and very tasty. I made two batches - one rolled into balls and one with the drop method. The ball cookies turned out perfectly. The dropped cookies spread so thin that they burned and were inedible. I will be turning to this recipe again the next time I want a light and crisp cookie.

Real Italian Calzones

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2007
I only made the crust for this recipe - so I can't comment on the filling. The crust was great, crispy, soft, chewy... absolutely lovely. I will be adding it to my "go to" recipe file.

Chicken and Stuffing Skillet

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2007
I made the recipe exactly as directed, although the stuffing mix I used was Mrs. Cubinson's and not the PF (I have an onion allergy and can't use any other packaged stuffing). It wasn't super fancy, but the flavor was pretty good, it was quick and easy, and that's what I was looking for. I think in future I'd make it again, but I'd add sour cream instead of milk, and I'd probably add some garlic.

Mixture for Meatballs, Meatloaf or Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2004
It was nice to find a recipe that didn't begin with "saute onions until translucent". I used seasoned Italian breadcrumbs instead of bread - as I didn't have bread on hand. These were great meatballs! My family went crazy about them. I will absolutely make them again, and often!

Mountain Dew™ Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2004
I didn't have pudding mix, so I added a couple tablespoons of flour to the cake mix. Also, I only had brown sugar on hand - so I used 1/2 cup brown sugar in the topping. It was a big hit.

Cooking Light magazine's Lazy Lasagna

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2004
I'm the picky eater in my family, and I enjoyed this recipe. I took the suggestions and added more sauce, and I used lowfat cottage cheese instead of the fat free.

Tommy's Ham Casserole

The family enjoyed it and it was certainly easy to make. I think next time I'll add more cheese.

Garlic Creamed Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2004
Very good, and super easy - which is great with my schedule. I used garlic powder instead of fresh, and cream of chicken (I'm not a mushroom fan). I put pepper on the chicken breasts before I poured over the sauce mixture. I served with brown rice and it was a huge hit.

Tomato Salsa without Onions

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2003
This is a very tasty salsa recipe. The roasted pepper adds depth, and a nice smoky flavour.

Aimee's Quick Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2002
I made this recipe for my dad, and he thought it was great. I used a teriyaki bbq sauce instead of straight teriyaki. Served it with some rice, and he now requests it at least once a week.

Clayton's Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2002
This one was a big hit! I happened to have cream of chicken soup on hand, so that is what I used. The gravy is fantastic. I'll absolutely be making this one again.

Chicken Something

Reviewed: May 5, 2001
My mom used to make this for us all the time. She changed it a bit though. Instead of 2 packages of onion, she used 1 package of garlic herb mix. She also used cream of chicken instead of cream of mushroom soup, and half the butter.
