Scalloped Potatoes and Onions
These were awesome! I made them for Christmas dinner and everyone in my family loved them. The sauce is fabulous! Just like the other reviewers have said the potatoes come out so creamy. I contemplated adding cheese (because everything's better with cheese, especially potatoes!). But I'm glad I didn't, they did not need it at all. In fact I think adding cheese in addition to the butter would have made them too oily. The only thing I did different from the recipe was once they were done I removed the foil and put them under the broiler for about 5 minutes to brown them. Best scalloped potatoes ever!
