Hot Pepper Mustard

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2011
Thank you for this wonderful recipe! I bought what I thought was a yellow bell pepper plant, or at least that's what it said it was, and it turned out to be banana peppers and I had no idea what I was going to do with them! This mustard turned out perfect! It did get lumpy as I think I had too much flour but I threw it in my mom's old Hamilton beach blender right off the stove, just before I canned and processed it and it turned out smooth and yummy just like professional mustard. Thanks!

Pie Crust IV

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2011
Wow! Two sticks of Blue Bonnet and just a drop of water, and I used my hand to mix it and floured the counter top an used a tall glass jar to roll it! One pie and some cookies later, I'm flabbergasted at how EASY this thing was to make, not to mention how good it tasted! I did add a spoon full of sugar as well. THANK YOU!

This is really good. I went by the recipe, only I turned up the heat to 375, but otherwise went with everything as is and turned out great.

Honey Chile Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2010
I love this recipe! I also boned the chicken and only used leg & thigh meat as I used to have this recipe from an old Chinese cookbook that I can no longer find, and the white meat seemed to always be too dry. I also used veg oil for frying, added minced garlic along with the ginger, and omitted the red pepper flakes. Thanks for posting!

Scott Ure's Clams And Garlic

These were awesome! I made a dozen for myself and I regretted not making more! I added lemon and salt at the end and made thick sliced garlic bread to go with it, as that's what I had on hand, but I love garlic so was good for me! Simple, quick and mmm, mmm, GOOD! Five Stars!

This is a great and simple recipe. My mom used to make it better than I can, thanks for posting it! I made this with the left over ham bone from Christmas dinner and it turned out great. Cornbread on the side is a must.

Cherry Pie IV

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2009
This pie turned out excellent! I had some frozen fresh sour cherries and I drained the juice into a sauce pan added the sugar & cornstarch then the cherries and cooked it till thick, then baked it in the oven and VIOLA! Cherry pie! I did cheat with the pie crust and bought a dairy case ready crust to save time. I will do this again with other fruits! Thanks! A++

Country-Style Ribs

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2009
I'm going to give this five stars because I thought it was wonderful, not too much work, and something different to do with country style pork ribs. I only omitted the clove & allspice because I didn't have any, but still turned out good. I will be cooking this again in the future so will try it with the omits then. Thanks!

Chili Mac Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2009
I made this with everything but the cumin, used a can of mild chili beans and did the layer thing with cheese in the middle and on top. Turned out fantastic! Everyone ate it and I even got a "awesome!" from my oldest kid. They are all picky eaters so had to hide what I was putting in it until it was on their plates. Oh and I made the corn bread too. Thanks for a great, easy, tasty dinner!
