Michelle's Blonde Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2008
Awesome with some prep changes! I used the same pot (saving dishes here!) for browning the chicken and cooking the actual soup. Adds alot of flavor with the bits from the bottom of the pot. I also drained the bean juice from the cans as I dont like the taste.

Lyonnaise Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2008
Very good side dish. I had these at a fancy steakhouse and my husband has asked for them since. I did omit alot of prep steps to save time. I added all the ingredients to a 13x9 casserole dish, covered with foil and baked for 1 hour at 350.

Vegan Apple Carrot Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2008
Just made theese and they are pretty good. I made a few changes to suite me. After the carrots & apple were grated and added 3 t. sugar mixed together and let sit to draw out the water, squeezed them dry and then added to the flour mix. I also used 6 real eggs, the applesauce and oil but had to up the flour content to 4 c. With these changes the batch made 2 dozen. Very good warmed and split with butter.

Creamy Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2008
This stuff is awesome!! I have been making this for my husband and his family for 6 years and they love it!! The only prep changes I make are adding the peanut butter, mallow creme and vanilla at the same time. Saves on stirring!

Seven Spiced Shark Steaks

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2008
This was a very tasty way to prepare my shark. Husband loved it, I thought it was a little too salty for me so next time I will switch the garlic salt for garlic powder. I did make one prep change and added all the ingredients to a plastic bag and marinated in the fridge for one hour.

Shrimp Linguine

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2007
Yummy!! I made this dish a few weeks ago to satisfy my hankering for a cream sauce dish (my husband despises cheese and alfredo-type dishes so I rarely make them). Let me tell you that this was fantastic! I did make some minor adjustments to suite my tastes and ingredient availability. First I cooked the shrimp about half-way in the butter & garlic then added the cream, I also added about 3/4 c. whole milk because it didn't seem saucy enough. I subbed dried herbs instead of fresh which kind of overpowered everything so next time I will be sure to use fresh herbs and omit the thyme. I also threw in about 1/2 tsp. of ground red pepper to spice it up. Oh and I added the cheese to the sauce to thicken it then tossed in the linguine. Served with sliced garlic bread...and guess what the husband LOVED it. I am making it again tonight but this time with rotini!
