Festive Cheese Dip 'Slaw'

I LOVE this recipe! I often don't serve it in the cabbage. My husband is doing the low carb thing, so eats it with celery. Not as good as Frito Scoops or a nice cracker, but he enjoys it. I like it spicy so I always add more jalapeno. You must let it refrigerator for several hours to let the flavors all meld together well. Yum!!! Wherever I take this recipe, people beg me for the recipe!

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

This was awesome! I used a(3 lb) pork loin instead of tenderloin and it turned out amazing (I cooked it on low for 8 + hours). I added a little chopped onions. Everyone in the family loved it. Yum yum yum!

Cookie Balls

Oh my, decadent and delicious! Did find that chilling the mixture before dunking in melted bark worked real well. Reserved a bit of the crunched up cookies to use as garnish. Yummy yummy!

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

This was delicious! I did make it a little differently. I forgot the sugar so I added a couple of tablespoons to the sauce after it was already in the slow cooker. Also, in lieu of the additional spices, I added a package of dry Italian salad dressing mix. Followed others advise and added some baby carrots as well. Those carrots were like candy, addicting! So good. Thanks for sharing this yummy recipe.

Blackberry Wine Cake II

This was a very tasty, moist cake and was a hit at a recent picnic. Good news for those who have a hard time finding blackberry gelatin, Jello brand has started selling a "Blackberry Fusion" flavor (Summer '07) which is a mix of blackberry and raspberry. I used that and it turned out great! None of the stores in our area sell the Royal brand of gelatin so I was very happy to see Jello's new flavor. After reading many negative reviews for the glaze I opted to brush the warm cake with warmed blackberry preserves, which added a nice flavor. Thanks for the delicious recipe!

Praline Butter Cookies

Like shortbread cookies, butter cookies are made without baking powder or baking soda. They are supposed to be a crunchy, buttery cookie. Perhaps that is the reason for the previous reviewers problems with the recipe.

Herb Rubbed Sirloin Tip Roast

This was the best recipe for sirloin tip roast! After my family raved about it, I passed it on to a friend at church whose husband believes that roasts are only for the crockpot. Well, her entire family said that it was the best roast they had ever had! And she is an excellant cook! Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe! This one is a winner!

Serbian Cevapcici

When my husband and I were newlyweds, living in a small German village, one of our favorite restaurants was one called The Balkan Grill, my husband always ordered the cevapcici. I was so excited to come across this recipe and it did not disappoint! It was delicious! My husband raved and thought it was real close to what he had had in Germany. He also spent lots of time in Bosnia, so this was a nice trip down memory lane for both of us. Thanks for sharing this great recipe.

Tina's Shortbread Chocolate Chip Cookies

Wonderful recipe! These were so delicious, just what I was looking for for my holiday baking. Thanks for sharing this great recipe Tina. I am going to share it with my friends who love shortbread cookies as well! I do want to add, I have a problem with others who critize the recipe saying they don't taste like chocolate chip cookies. These are shortbread cookies with chocolate chips. They won't taste like your typical chocolate chip cookie, they will taste like a shortbread cookie with a bite of chocolate chip and walnut. A suggestion for those whose cookies turned out to have butter running out of them when baking, softened butter and not melted butter should be used when baking cookies, that may have been the problem.

Shrimp Scampi Bake

Apple Cake and Butter Sauce

This was a delicious, moist and very easy cake to make. As recommended by others, I finely chopped the apples instead of grating them. I also added about 1 tsp. of brandy to the sauce, yum yum!! I was serving it to kids so next time I may add just a few drops more ; ) This is a wonderful recipe, do give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

This is so delicious! I baked it in a casserole dish because I served it with the Herb Roasted Turkey Breast (also a delicious recipe on this site). Next time I will add more broth because it was a little loose for a casserole dish. However, it was sooo yummy, thanks for sharing this terrific recipe.

Emma's Belgian Waffles

This is a great recipe. I have never made Belgian waffles before and these worked great with my new waffle iron. My family really enjoyed them. They also freeze well, my daughter enjoys popping one in the toaster oven for an afternoon snack. I hope others who had trouble will give this one a try again, they were very tasty when made properly.
