Balsamic Marinated Chicken Breasts

This marinade is amazing! It tastes like Chiavetta's marinade from my hometown of Buffalo, NY - liquid gold! If you are using this marinade remove the skin of the chicken so the marinade can soak into the meat and marinade it overnight if you can.

Beets and Greens

I have tried SO MANY ways to eat beets and this was the recipe that won my affection to beets. It is incredible! Now I want to grow beets in my garden just so I can eat them more often.

German Lentil Soup

Be sure to at least double the amount of liquid. I used 6 cups of broth and we could have even used a little more. But GREAT flavor!

Chocolaty Caramel-Nut Popcorn

This was realy easy to make and it tastes great. Be sure to have a HUGE bowl to mix the popcorn in. I used a wok and it was still too small. The chocolate didn't melt like I thought it would so I'm not sure what to do about that. I used 1 cup popcorn kernals and made my popcorn on the stove.

Too much salt! Everything else was great but it was too salty. I would at least half the salt in this recipe. My husband thought it was fine but he adds salt to everything and I rarely add salt to any food. Just be careful!

Cranberry Salad

I tried this the first time on my family at Christmas. They all loved it. It was sweet and tangy, a nice change from the heavy, creamy food at Christmas time. Will make it again.

Emily's Famous Hash Browns

These came out wonderful! I flattened them our in my cast iron skillet and added oil to the pan when needed to fry them. I added garlic powder and a little oregano as one reviewer did and it was great. Will definitely make again!
