About this Cook
I am a mom of two. A 7 yr old and a 5 yr old.I am from a very small town. when u blink u drive right thru it with out even realizing it! I volunteer in a kindergarten class and i luv watching the kids grow and explore new things.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake! At christmas time it is non stop around here. We bake all different types of cookies, pies, & candies. I am beginning to get out of my shell and trying other types of foods.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I try to bake a lot the way my grandma did when we were young. But as you know no one can cook like grandma! We would stay up late and make homade doughnuts. It was great! I want to do that for my kids and there friends!
My cooking triumphs
I haven't made anything spectactular yet. I can do the normal easy things~
My cooking tragedies
I was doing Thanksgiving for the first time... It was for my boyfriend his 3 kids and me and my 2 kids. It was going really good, all I had left was the gravy. I was feeling really confident and then I spilled the gravy (just off the very hot burner) all over my had and arm! I didn't get to eat any of it because I couldnt move my hand!! But it was a good meal and everyone really liked it,, I guess it was a very successful meal in the end.

I have made this at least 5x! My fiance loves this with hard boiled eggs! I change it between chicken and tuna. Absolutely amazing!
