Alan was this evening's host and had quite a challenge. He wanted to make jambalaya but he as well as a few others in our group (myself included) have major "eating spices" issues. Well, I personally think he pulled it off. All the proper flavor was

Well, our hostess, Juli, for the 2nd dinner meeting did a fantastic job. She started off with butternut toasts with sage ricotta and then a spicy crab with cream cheese on toast. This was followed by the best cauliflower and mushroom soup I've ever tasted.

OMG! I forgot to post how well the first dinner meeting went. My beef wellingtons came out sooo good. They could have been little prettier, but that will come with practice.

Well, Glory Be! I actually have people interested this time. Hw fun. I have 5 firm yeses. By the time you throw a spouse in, that's more than enough around the dinner table.
