Greek Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2008
These were so yummy. I upped the almond extract to a teaspoon and I think they were perfect. Crisp and sweet and so good with the powdered sugar- and hot tea. These were a hit at my husband's work cookie swap.

Chocolate Mice

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2008
I made these using silver dragees for eyes and caramel sheets (for caramel apples), cut into strips and rolled into tails. They were so realistic on my Halloween cupcakes and a huge hit at work. These were the only dessert at the pot luck to get goobled up and still had people left who didn't get any. And they tasted as good as they looked!

No Bake Cookies I

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2008
These were so FAST and EASY! But even better, they were absolutely delicious. I found other similar recipes didn't taste right or were too loose to hold together. I love this recipe and so do my sons and husband. Great cookie for any occasion!

Chicken Satay

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2008
I didn't have curry powder so I left it out and I just poached chicken breast. I served the chicken on lettuce leaves with chopped cashews and Asian sweet and spicy chili sauce and they were so delicious.

Asian Tuna Patties

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2008
I've made these several times because they're easy, delicious, and my husband and 2 1/2 year old son love them. My son asks for "crabby patties" as I call them and devours them. They're perfect just as the recipe calls but in a pinch I used 1 tsp onion powder instead of fresh onion and they were excellent. reaaly good with a squeeze of lemon or lime!

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2007
I made one truffle to experiment because I only had Trader Joe's Joe-Joe's which are candy cane flavored oreo cookies. I eye-balled the cream cheese and mixed it with one crushed cookie, then dipped it in a melted Dove dark chocolate (red wrapper) promise. It made my eyes roll in the back of my head! These are awesome and I will make it exactly this way in huge batches to give away this Christmas.
