Amy's Garlic Egg Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2001
Great recipe! The flavor is fabulous. I rated it a bit lower on the quickness scale becauseit takes a while to marinate. Definitely a "plan-ahead" meal!

YUMMY!!!! We added a layer of fresh raspberries to the recipe. Our whole family loved it!

Feta Chicken

Reviewed: May 9, 2002
This was fantastic. I made it for my in-laws (I needed something easy, since I am 8 months pregnant and didn't feel like standing in the kitchen all day). It was easy, really moist (which shocked me!) and tasted fabulous.

Filet Mignon with Rich Balsamic Glaze

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2004
This is an easy recipe that is great for company. We enjoyed it, and even used some chicken for one of our friends who doesn't eat beef.

Garlic Salmon

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2005
This was very easy, and tasted wonderful. Like many others, I didn't have fresh dill, so I used dry, and the results were great. Thank you for sharing!

Lamb Chops with Balsamic Reduction

Reviewed: May 9, 2005
I didn't change the recipe at all. My husband and I loved it. It was better than any lamb we've had in restuarants (and I am a lamb maniac). Thank you so much for the recipe!

Triple Berry Crisp

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2005
I used blackberries only, and this was a huge hit for the family. I didn't change anything else in the recipe. It was great.

Vegan Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2006
These were really good, and really easy. I made no modifications to the recipe (but cooked them for the longer suggested time), and they turned out perfectly.

Roasted Pork Loin

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2006
I used a 3 pound pork loin and followed the recipe *almost* exactly (I always hate when people say they followed the recipe exactly and then proceed to tell you that they left out the chicken in the chicken parmesan!). I covered the roast for most of the cooking time (1 hour 45 minutes) and then raised the temperature on the oven to 425 and cooked it for another 15 minutes without the covering. I have a convection oven, which I always use when roasting meats. In the end, this was really wonderful. It is EASY, and the flavor made it seem like it took forever to prepare. Thanks so much for the recipe.

Pork Chops in Beer

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2007
I really liked this recipe - the chops were moist and flavorful. My husband, on the other hand, felt that the sauce was too sweet and tasted too much of beer. I used Sam Adams Winter Lager. If I had used a light beer, I think he may have liked the taste a bit better. All in all, this is a great weeknight recipe.

Turkey Burger Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2007
This was a great, easy recipe for the kids. They all enjoyed it, as did my husband and I. I didn't have egg substitute, so I used two eggs, beaten, instead. It was fantastic.

Ham and Cheesy Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2008
Very easy to make. I had to feed 6 kids with this (and they're all picky), and they actually ate it. I did not include the lemon pepper because I don't like it. It was creamy, tasty, and a great use of leftovers.

Sangria! Sangria!

Reviewed: May 26, 2008
We made three batches of this sangria for our Memorial Day party, and it was the favorite drink. The only change we made was to use diet Sprite instead of carbonated water. Otherwise, everything was the same - to the measurement in the recipe. This is a perfect summer drink!

Easy Tilapia with Wine and Tomatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2008
This is a great weeknight dinner. We followed the directions exactly (except we used dried basil from last year's garden because our basil hasn't come up yet). The fish was perfectly cooked with 15 minutes on the grill, and the sauce was very tasty. We served it over brown rice, but pasta would have worked well, too. This is a definite keeper. Thanks for the recipe!!

Simple Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2008
This was a very easy recipe, but came out a little bland. I followed the recipe exactly, so next time I will add some extra spices to add some zing. I served it over Fritos with a little sharp cheddar on top. Thanks for the easy recipe!

Elegant Orzo with Wilted Spinach and Pine Nuts

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2008
My husband and I loved this. We didn't make any changes to the recipe, and it was fantastic. I will warn you that my kids didn't like it at all, though. Too bad for them - this is a keeper!

Apple Cider Sauce and Pork Loin Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2008
This was phenomenal. Like many others, I didn't have access to frozen apple cider, so I added a dash of nutmeg and cinnamon. All four of my kids (most of whom are picky eaters) gobbled this up. They even asked if we had leftovers so that they could have it again.

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2008
this bread turned out great. I followed the directions exactly, and was very happy with the results. It was also easy enough for me to allow my 5-year-old to do much of the "work," and now she's addicted to making bread. Thanks for the recipe!

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2008
This was good, but when I made it exactly as the recipe said, the chicken did turn out a little slimy (for lack of a better word) when it was done. Next time, I'll make it without the flour. The flavor was really good, and my one non-picky-eater child enjoyed it, but the other three wouldn't touch it, because they didn't like how it looked! :)
