I thought this soup was REALLY good. I followed the suggestion of less chilies, but found that it wasn't enough heat for me. I added 4 cloves of garlic, used fresh green pepper and yellow onion (garlic pepper, and onion sauteed lightly before being added). I also added a can of black beans for protien, and instead of corn I used hominy, 2 cans (because it's what's used in posole). And instead of crushed tomatoes, I used stewed. The next time i think I might try to blend a bit of the soup and add it back in so it's not as chunky, but it's still delicious. I'm having it for lunch today!
