About this Cook
I'm a wife, mom of 3, and reluctant cook. I do not enjoy cooking that much, but its my job.(doesn't pay very well, either) Having an amazing tool like Allrecipes allows me to learn and develop new things to make, to get us trying new things. The more i cook things we all like, the more i could say i {like} cooking. Still not sure yet if i really like it or not. :-) At least i make edible stuff now. Thank you all for submitting your recipes!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies
Loved it! Made it in my Kitchenaide mixer and loved that I didn't have to sift or separate ingredients into two different bowls! Just creamed butter and sugar, then eggs one ata time while on low, then one cup of flour at a time, while adding the salt and baking powder in with 2nd and 3rd cups. Dough works great chilled and with the confectioners sugar instead of flour. Great trick I'll use again. Thanks so much for the recipe which will now be our "family Christmas Cookie Recipe"!

Zucchini Corn Fritters
LOVE LOVE LOVED IT!! I was lazy and used a Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix in place of the dry ingredients, and 3 eggs. I forgot the Cumin and cheese, and even without it my kids, husband, and neighbor kids ALL DEVOURED THEM!! Thank you so much for this keeper!!

Thai Pork Satay
We loved this recipe- it is very similar to a peanut chicken I do in a pan, served with rice or pasta (sons fav. is mini Farfale), anyhow I did add white vinegar to this, as it is in my other recipe, and it was a hit!!The pork was nice and tender, and we just used thick, cut up pork chop, AND were only able to marinate for about a hour and a half! Thank you for this great recipe!
