The Best Chicken Fried Steak

This was my first attempt at making Chicken Fried Steak and it turned out perfectly ... crisp and tender! I wasn't crazy about the gravy, will add more seasoning next time. My husband loved it.

Potato Soup V

This was really good. I added a little garlic powder and since I never have half-and-half on hand, I used a can of cream of mushroom soup to thicken it up. Will make again.

Garlic Red Potatoes

Very good and will make again. Next time I will start them earlier and bake longer. I ended up putting the whole dish in the microwave to get them tender and then under the broiler to brown and crisp them up.

Sausage Gravy

This is a great base recipe that I will use often! I made sausage links and didn't have quite enough grease so added a little butter. Added salt and pepper at the end and it was delicious! I'm getting ready to make it again using bacon this time.

Southern Potato Salad

I followed the recipe and it tasted very good. I then decided to use "Retired Cooks" suggestions and added a tablespoon of vinegar, sugar and top with paprika and that made it 5 stars! Thanks for the recipe!

Easy Deviled Chicken

Good flavor but they were far from being "crunchy" like the description states...then again I didn't follow the recipe to bake them for an hour and a half. Mine were almost over baked after 35 minutes! They were still good and I might make again just without the expectation of them being crunchy.

Cheesy Noodle Casserole

I tasted this before baking it and it was creamy and delicious. Baking it dried it out. If I make it again I won't bake it at all or add more milk, cheese, and butter before baking.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

My husband and I loved this! It was so easy to make. I did use twine instead of toothpicks. The only thing I will change next time is to add more cheese. We will definitely be making this again! Thanks for the great recipe.

Easy Meatloaf

I've made this meatloaf several times and my review is based on the meatloaf only. I do not like anything sweet so just used tomato sauce for the topping. I used italian seasoned bread crumbs and added a little garlic powder and a couple dashes of worcestershire sauce. There are never any leftovers.

Wake-Up Casserole

Sarge's EZ Pulled Pork BBQ

I made this recipe with no changes. At the end I drained most of the broth and added our favorite BBQ and let it simmer. Everyone loved it. Delicious!

Cream Peas

Good recipe, my fiance loved it. It was too thick for me at the end so I did as another reviewer suggested and added a little more water and butter. Also I do not like "sweets" so omitted the sugar and added pepper.
