Chocolate Brittle Surprise
Have been making these for years, but do a few things differently. I use 40 crackers, melt the butter on the stove and add the brown sugar to the pot stirring constantly until the mixture is bubbly and thick. Bake for 5 minutes at 400 degrees. I like to add colorful sprinkles or jimmies on top of the chocolate before refrigerating. Yum Yum!!

Russian Tea Cakes I
Have made these wonderful cookies for years. I triple the recipe, using half the walnuts called for. I finely crush the walnuts in a zip-lock bag--before adding to mixture. I roll the dough into smaller balls---thumb print the center of the dough and add a fruit preserve to the 'well'. Bake as directed--give or take a few minutes. When completely cooled, sprinkle confectioners' sugar over cookies. I use a tea strainer. They are beautiful to the eye, not too sweet and all my friends' favorite cookie.

Hot and Tasty Bites
Remember making these years ago. These can be frozen before baking. I put the unbaked 'bites' on a lined cookied sheet, place them in the freezer until frozen, then put them in freezer zip-lock bags for later use. Better than ordering out pizza when your kids bring hungry friends home. Preheat oven 425 degrees.
