Chicken Avocado Casserole

We love this recipe. Made a couple minor changes, substituted yogurt for the cream to cut some calories/fat) and omitted the almonds for personal taste. Thanks for sharing!

Sally's Spinach Mashed Potatoes

You're right... very easy & delicious. I used fresh spinach instead of frozen, cut the butter & chedder cheese & substituted yogurt for sour cream. Very tasty!

Loved the flavours & easy to make. Instead of foil, I use 2 aluminum (disposable) containers and hold together with foldback clips. I find them easier to flip &/or check when they are done. I like my green peppers cooked less (they were abit mushy) so next time I will add them part way through cooking.

Sassy Steak Marinade and Sauce

OMG, this was amazing. As others mentioned, we also used spicy cocktail sauce. Marinated overnight on rib-eye's. Love mushrooms on our steak, this was a nice change in flavours. Definately will make again.

Chicken with Green Peppers in Black Bean Sauce

Fabulous recipe. Served it at an ethnic dinner club and received several thumbs up. Few small adjustments; substituted 1-2 Tbsp HOT black bean sauce for some regular for more spice, used chicken broth vs. bouillon. I found the bean sauce salty so cut out the salt and used light (vs. dark) soy sauce. Not sure exactly where to find or what to do for 'toasted' seasame oil so used regular seasame oil heated in toaster oven. I'm always nervous to make a recipe for the 1st time for a big groug but it worked great & pretty easy to prepare.

Roast Beef and Avocado Wraps

I was looking for a recipe for beef & avocado & we ended up really liking this one. Couple changes, we used left-over steak, cut it into small pieces and heated meat before putting in the wrap. Put 1/2 cheese in wrap & 1/2 on top. Heated in oven about 10-15 min. Easy, quick and very tasty meal.

Tangy Cheese-Topped Spuds

Loved it. I was reluctant to put all the horseradish but glad I did. Adds a tasty favour. I found the topping to be too much for the amount of pototoes so I cut it in half (& still found it abit much). Once topping was mixed I scooped out potatoes and added to it along with grated cheese and blended together before scooping back into pototoe shells. Put abit of the grated cheese on top and put in toaster oven to warm up/broil before serving. Definately will make this again!

Simply Divine Meat Loaf with Spinach

Very tasty. Normally we like ketchup on our meatloaf but this one was so full of flavor that we didn't on this recipe. Loved the addition of spinach. To cut the fat we formed meatloaf on a broiler pan (covered with foil for 1st part of baking) so that the extra fat drained off. Still stayed moist inside and wasn't greasy like most meatloaf made in a breadpan. It was 'Simply Divine'!

Norwegian Christmas Cabbage

Always looking for good recipes for cabbage. Only change, cut up the bacon into bite size pieces. Love the combination of ingredients and easy to make.

Bacon Rosemary Mashed Potatoes

Very nice change from regular mashed potatoes. I like the recipe as is but also tried a variation where I substituted yogurt for the milk &/or butter.
