Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2012
Surprisingly delicious! I was unsure how the combination of ingredients would taste together, but it turned out to be a fabulous blend. I will definitely make again!

Roasted Cajun Potatoes

I really liked these potatoes. I added a few extra seasonings, such as Mrs. Dash, and sprinkle of Old Bay. These turned out great! Will make again.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2010
as written this recipe is not great. the taste of the recipe is fine, but the cooking time is a little off. i added the biscuit dough about an hour before i wanted to serve it instead of the 30 minutes as written and they were definitely still raw after an hour. after almost 2 hours i finally just decided to scoop them out an cook them in the oven and add them back in. i'll try this recipe again and see if i can get better results.

Baked Ziti IV

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2010
I made a few adaptations to this recipe to fit what i had in the fridge. I used ground turkey, because it's what i had, instead of the italian sausage and beef. i also used ricotta instead of cottage cheese. this was truly good. my fiance loved it too. it's a keeper in my recipe book.

Chicken Tikka Masala

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2010
this was very good! i made some adjustments though. i didn't grill the chicken separately. instead i marinated it and then cooked it in the sauce. i think it made it a bit more flavorful. i also added some cinammon to the sauce. made it a bit more flavorful.

Baked Macaroni and Cheese

this was good, but i think it could use some more cheese. next time i think i'll add a cup of muenster or colby cheese.

Kickin' London Broil with Bleu Cheese Butter

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2009
i only gave the recipe 4 stars because i had to add some extra seasoning of my own to the meat. otherwise, everything came out great! the bleu cheese butter was fabulous!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2009
this recipe worked soooo well! i followed it exactly. the bread came out moist and soft. it freezes very well too. i cut one of my loaves in half, wrapped it in foil and put it in a zip lock bag. almost 2 months later, it tastes fresh and just as good.

Toasted Pumpkin Seeds

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2008
this recipe turned out great. i had to half everything because i didn't have enough seeds. and i didn't use all the recommended salt. just sprinkled it on to my taste. and used olive oil instead. turned out fantastic. we ate them right off the pan as soon as they got out!

Eileen's Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2008
i followed this recipe, exactly as written and it turned out great! it was very moist and juicy. it had a strong flavor of the onion soup mix, but i happen to really like that flavor. if you don't, i don't recommend using the whole package. as i saw in other reviews, i put some bread on the bottom of the pan to soak up the grease, and that worked well, and added a ketchup/brown sugar glaze that i found on other meatloaf recipes, that kicked up the flavor a knotch. overall, great recipe.

Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp and Basil

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
i gave it 4 stars because i tweaked it a bit, but it turned out great. i used chicken instead of shrimp, because i already had it. also i added about 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream and some of the diced tomato liquid for more of a sauce. i seasoned the chicken with a bit of cajun seasoning and added a sprinkling of red pepper flakes to the sauce. it was phenomenal! and tasted even better the next day. thanks for a great base recipe.

Baked Potato Soup III

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2008
this soup was really good. instead of adding the green onions later, i added them with the butter and let them cook longer. they turned out soft and added a good taste. i didn't use cooked bacon, but instead just tossed in some real bacon bits. instead of regular salt i used seasoned salt. overall, soup turned out great. will be eating this all week.
