About this Cook
I was born and raised in Tennesse and have strong southern roots. I am very down to earth and love this website!! I guess you could call me a borderline addict to the thing. I am happily married to my sweet husband and we have two adorable miniature pinschers. No kids yet, but maybe in the future. I love to cook anything...especially something challenging. I love cooking so much that I've convinced my husband to try I hardly get to cook anymore because I can't keep the boy out of my kitchen!!!
My favorite things to cook
I love trying new and different dishes. I especially love trying my hand at baking and cake decorating...still need a little practice in this area though.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Cooking dinner everynight with my husband...hopefully when we decide to have kids we can make it a family tradition.
My cooking triumphs
I made beautiful Strawberry Napoleons, Spicy Chicken Cheese Dip, Spinach and Artichoke Dip that's restaurant worthy.
My cooking tragedies
As much as I hate to say it, I can't make a grilled cheese. They always come out burnt and the cheese doesn't even melt. I don't do well making fruit pies either if it's something a child can make, I CAN'T DO IT!!!

Super Chicken Mole
I followed the directions to a T and couldn't even bring myself to serve it for dinner. A great way to waste your ingredients...will never make this recipe again. EVER.

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken
One of the most flavorful dishes I've had in a while. My picky husband loved it!! I doubled the sauce and served over noodles. I also tossed in peppers, onions, and zuchinni.

LOVED this recipe. Next time I'll use a little less lemon and vinegar but other than that it was great. I made shish kebabs with it and served it with orzo seasoned with Greek seasoning and lemon juice then topped with parmesan chese. A new favorite!!
