Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2013
I tried this recipe by only omitting the nuts, and it was fantastic. The cookies were soft, but chewy with just the right amount of oats. I can't tell if I enjoy eating the batter (I know, raw eggs...) or the warm cookies more! Thanks for the recipe :)

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: May 25, 2011
I made these tonight, and I thought it would turn out too weird if I melted the butter. So instead I just made sure the butter was REALLY soft and then followed the rest of the recipe. I didn't find they stuck to the pan at all, so I didn't grease them or use parchment paper. I also only baked them for approximately 10 mins (I just eyeballed it) ans they turned out awesome! I will use this recipe again :)

Chicken Makhani (Indian Butter Chicken)

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2010
This dish turned out delicious! I made several changes though: Instead of using ginger garlic paste I just used fresh chopped of each and in lieu of half & half, I used low fat coconut milk. It didn't turn out as rich, but it still tasted amazing (and saved a lot of calories!)

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2010
I also followed the advice of the others and coated my chicken in flour. I also used ginger soy sauce, which made a huge difference. I like how you can make it as hot (or not) as you prefer. This is deliciously sticky, sweet and spicy!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: May 16, 2010
These are some of the BEST chocolate chip cookies I have ever made...they turned out awesome! The vanilla pudding mix made them super moist. However, I do agree with most people that more vanilla extract is a must, and to bake them a little less than the recipe says. All ovens are different, so just take them out as soon as they are slightly golden. YUMMM!

Delicious and chewy! I used all butter and added a little more of the cinnamon & cloves to enhance the flavour. Overall an awesome recipe!

Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2010
This pie is delicious...I'm not even a big fan of lemon meringue pie, but I'll make an exception for this one. I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out great. Next time I'll leave out a bit of the cornstarch, as it thickened A LOT! Also I'm going to take some of the other reviewers ideas so that the meringue doesn't get watery. Regardless, it tasted DELICIOUS!

Thai Green Curry Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2010
I made this with a few changes - added more vegetables, used tofu instead of chicken, etc.The green curry paste I used was not spicy, so I added the entire 2 Tbsps - it gave it a great kick! I did follow some of the reviewers advice and used 1/2 the amount of sugar and less soy sauce. I served it over fragrant jasmine rice. The end result was DELICIOUS!

Vegetarian Korma

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2010
I made this recipe but with a bit of a twist. I substituted sweet potatoes for the normal kind, and I added chickpeas. I didn't have any carrots, so I threw in some broccoli. I also didn't have jalapenos, so I added crushed red chili peppers. Instead of heavy cream, I put in unsweetened coconut milk. I served it with jasmine rice, and it was AMAZING! I served it to vegetarians and non-vegetarians and they all loved it! I will definitely make again - This time I will stick to the recipe more to see if it turns out differently. YUM!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2010
I found this pancake recipe pretty good. It did have the fluffiness that I was looking for, but it left a weird acidic aftertaste in my mouth. Perhaps it was the baking powder (even though I only put in 3 teaspoons) I might go with some reviewers and put vanilla in next time, and definitely less baking powder!

A really good basic pound cake recipe. I made this a few weeks ago so, I think I had to bake it a few minutes longer than he recipe said. Delicious, none the less!

Special Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2009
I don't know if it is because it was humid when I made this, or if it was because I used half shortening and half butter, but this turned out waaaaaay too soft. I couldn't do anything with it when it came to decorating. But it did taste delicious :o)

Better than most packaged seasonings out there! You can add more or less of each spice as desired, and there is a lot less salt than the packaged kinds as well. Yum!!

Sour Cream Coffee Cake III

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2009
This is a great recipe!! I did a few things differently - I put more cinnamon, and instead of baking it in a square pan, I baked it in a bundt pan. It's delicious, and I get so many compliments on this recipe!!
