I am a new mom who loves staying home with my little boy! It has always been my dream to stay home with my kids and it's finally coming true! Some of my favorite pastimes are beading, reading, playing with my son, hanging out at bookstores for hours on end and of course, cooking!I love trying new recipes and tweaking old ones. I have a passion for baking and creating delicious desserts. I am also a hairdresser that now gets to practice my craft part time at home. I love my life and am blessed beyond measure. God is good!
My favorite things to cook
Anything chocolate, anything sweet :) chicken is a favorite of mine to play with. I love all holiday baking and cooking.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie
AMAZING cookies! The only downside to these is that you have to be careful to ever so slightly undercook them so they stay chewy or due to the melted butter they will get crunchy instead of staying soft. Everytime I make these I get rave reviews though, you can't go wrong with these.

Paprika Chicken with Sour Cream Gravy
I thought this was a GREAT basic recipe. It is super easy to build upon. Cheap, and pretty quick to make. I did double all of the spices except the red pepper (my hubby doesn't like spicy food). This recipe makes TONS more gravy than you need though. I would suggest making it with noodles or something because the gravy was almost to much with just the chicken. But very flavorful. Overall this is a keeper.
