Winter Blossom's Often Requested Ham Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2010
Very good recipe... although I added a little too much relish. Great recipe as is, no need to change anything.

Chocolate Pretzel Rings

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2010
Easy recipe... only thing was that I had to put them in the fridge for over a half hour because the chocolate wasn't firm enough after just 10 minutes. They taste great though!!

B and L's Strawberry Smoothie

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2011
I only had vanilla yogurt, and also added a banana for extra potassium that I need. Otherwise I followed it exactly and it was great!

Iced Mochas

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2011
I left out the sugar, and didn't have a full 1/4 cup of chocolate, but other than that I followed the recipe exactly... very good! Now I can save myself some $$$ at the coffee house!

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2011
I used 10 granny smith apples, doubled the crust to make a top and bottom, added a splash of vanilla to the crust, and added some sprinkles of nutmeg to the apples. It was so delicious. My husband, who is not a fan of desserts, went back for fifths! Everyone loved it!

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2012
So moist and wonderful! I did make it with 1 cup chocolate instead of the 3/4 cup it called for. Many compliments!

Really good... people were stuffing themselves with 3 or more bbq's just to get more! This will be my recipe from now on for bbq's.

Cinnamon Bread I

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2012
We love it! I had to make 2 of them within two days... my carb-hating husband ate over 1/2 of it the first night. The only thing I did different was to double the filling and add the extra to the middle.

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Best meatloaf ever... even my meatloaf-hating husband couldn't stop eating it! I added the ketchup/mustard/brown sugar topping from Best Meatloaf Ever recipe from this site. Perfect!!

This is great! We double the recipe, and it has now become part of our weekly rotation! We also add onion, green peppers, water chestnuts, and mushrooms.

Sweet Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2012
We loved them. I've made them into clover rolls and regualr dinner rolls. The only thing wrong was that I didn't adjust the time the first time I made them, and ended up over-baking them. (My own fault) Perfect if I bake them at 375 instead of 400 for about 10 minutes.

Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2013
I made this super easy on myself and just threw everything into a crockpot in the morning. The chicken breasts were frozen, but they cooked just perfect in the juices all day. I just took out the chicken after it was done and shredded it up... sooo good!

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2013
I didn't have any onion powder, so I threw in dried minced onion with the stems and garlic on the stove. I followed the rest of the recipe to a T, and these were fantastic! The filling makes enough for twice the amount of mushrooms though. I had 26 mushroom caps, but used the same amount for filling and it was perfect!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2013
I don't use canned meat, so I used boneless chicken breast. TO make it easy I threw the chicken (frozen) into a crockpot in the morning and when it was done I took it out, shredded it, and then threw it back in the crockpot along with all the other ingredients. It kept it nice and warm during the whole football game and the men LOVED it!! No leftovers!!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2013
Very good recipe! I should've just made them as stated with the 2 cups of sugar, but I used 3 like most reviewers said. Way too much sugar, especially when frosting them too. But, a great recipe as written... will definitely use again without the extra sugar!

Quinoa and Black Beans

My family all LOVED this recipe. I added a can of diced tomatoes (although I would use fresh next time if I had them on hand) and only used 1 can of beans. Sooooo good!!!
