Squasage (Sausage-stuffed Squash)

I'm not a fan of squash, but this recipe was delicious as written! I got everything ready in the morning and then just threw it in the oven for about 15 minutes at supper time. Thank you for a great recipe!!

Best Pork Chop Marinade

I thought this was a great recipe, but I didn't have mesquite flavored seasoning so I used a different seasoning instead. Other than that I kept everything the same and the pork turned out very tender and yummy!

Quinoa and Black Beans

My family all LOVED this recipe. I added a can of diced tomatoes (although I would use fresh next time if I had them on hand) and only used 1 can of beans. Sooooo good!!!

Sausage Egg Casserole

I did change up the veggies, only because we didn't have everything on the list. We used mushrooms, onions, green onions, and green peppers. I also just threw them in the pan with the pork sausage and cooked it all together... no need for butter. We used 12 eggs instead of 10, didn't add the flour mixture to it, and it was fantastic! Everyone loved it!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Very good recipe! I should've just made them as stated with the 2 cups of sugar, but I used 3 like most reviewers said. Way too much sugar, especially when frosting them too. But, a great recipe as written... will definitely use again without the extra sugar!

Fresh Tomato Basil Sauce

This was fantastic... I just wish that I would've waited to add the basil until the last 30 minutes of simmering. The smell and taste of the basil went away completely after simmering the whole time, but it smelled and tasted sooooo good before that!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

I don't use canned meat, so I used boneless chicken breast. TO make it easy I threw the chicken (frozen) into a crockpot in the morning and when it was done I took it out, shredded it, and then threw it back in the crockpot along with all the other ingredients. It kept it nice and warm during the whole football game and the men LOVED it!! No leftovers!!

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

I didn't have any onion powder, so I threw in dried minced onion with the stems and garlic on the stove. I followed the rest of the recipe to a T, and these were fantastic! The filling makes enough for twice the amount of mushrooms though. I had 26 mushroom caps, but used the same amount for filling and it was perfect!

Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

I made this super easy on myself and just threw everything into a crockpot in the morning. The chicken breasts were frozen, but they cooked just perfect in the juices all day. I just took out the chicken after it was done and shredded it up... sooo good!

Soooooo easy and so yummy. I get requests for this anytime people are staying at our house. I do mix in the pudding mix with the butter and brown sugar after they are done cooking.

Balsamic Vinaigrette

I made the recipe exactly as stated, but it was quite sour. I don't like sweet salad dressings, but this was too tart even for my taste buds. I added 2 tbsp raw honey, and it was perfect. With this addition I will make it again and again!

Sweet Dinner Rolls

We loved them. I've made them into clover rolls and regualr dinner rolls. The only thing wrong was that I didn't adjust the time the first time I made them, and ended up over-baking them. (My own fault) Perfect if I bake them at 375 instead of 400 for about 10 minutes.
