Wonton Wrappers

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2013
Made by hand rolling when I couldn't find any wonton wrappers for a potstickers recipe in stores. These turned out exactly like the store-bought ones in terms of taste, I'll have to work on my rolling technique to make them more even in shape. Loved them, so simple and turn out wonderful.

Crustless Cheese Quiche

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2012
Excellent- even my "I don't like quiche" family members enjoyed. I have made with and without butter (as others recommended) and DEFINITELY recommend making without the butter. With, it was soggy and too rich. Easy recipe to change up by adding in different vegetables and cheeses.

Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2011
Delicious! Added 6 cups of broth as another reviewer recommended; however, it seemed to overpower the soup so next time I will stick with 5 as the recipe is written. Great combination of flavors, this is a more filling soup and is great served with bread and/or salad.

Oriental Cold Noodle Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2011
This salad was very flavorful but I was not fond of the flavor combination. No one would eat these, but I think my family prefers more of the brown sugar/soy sauce/garlic flavor combinations in Asian cooking instead of the cilantro/lime/sesame oil.

Watermelon Pops

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2011
These are delicious! The Jello makes them no-drip, an added bonus. The creamy white layer is similar to cheesecake and the flavors really go well together. They are somewhat complicated to make, but used another reviewer's idea to simplify. Will be making these again and again!

Broccoli Chicken Roli

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2011
The whole family loved this! This roll was a very filling 'comfort food.' I had extra filling after stuffing the first roll of crescent rolls, next time I will make two rolls using two cans of crescent dough. The dijon mustard adds a nice tang. We will be adding this to regular rotation!

Cucumber Sandwich

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2011
Very tasty. Had to make without tomato and sprouts since I had none, still very flavorful. Will make again.

Grilled Glazed Salmon

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2011
Threw this together for a barbecue and it was an absolute hit! The ingredients were all on hand, and easy to put together. I skipped the Splenda/sugar altogether, and ended up grilling these in foil packets. The ingredients really complimented each other and highlighted the salmon. Will definitely be making this again!

Stuffed Green Peppers I

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2011
These were very tasty. Due to my own error (did not have a lid for the pot), the rice did not fully cook so it came out crunchy- but otherwise the flavors were good together. I might omit both the rice and the tomato-soup sauce next time as there was enough tomato flavor in the filling for the peppers. Family loved it, even the picky eaters!

Asian Lettuce Wraps

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2011
Made as is except for substituting fresh ginger for the pickled. Very flavorful and delicious, will be using this recipe repeatedly in the future for dinners and to serve to guests.

Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2011
This was my first attempt at Quinoa. It was great! Followed the recipe to the T, except I did not have broth so used water instead (but it was still flavorful). I served it topped with salsa which was delicious. Highly recommend this recipe!

Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2011
This was delicious with a few changes. Based on other reviewer's suggestions, I reduced the milk to 1 1/2 cups total, and added 6 rather than 4 eggs. I substituted cheese & garlic croutons for the bread, which turned out nicely. I felt that using the full pound of sausage made it a bit overwhelming to the other ingredients, next time I will reduce this amount. To make the casserole festive, I added finely chopped onions, green and red peppers which also added great flavor. Overall, this is an excellent base recipe and the results were excellent, will definitely make again. Thanks!

Chicken Nuggets

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2009
Terrific! Made as is, and they turned out delicious. We gobbled them up. Placed seasonings and butter-coated chicken pieces in a ziploc bag as another reviewer suggested which made this recipe quick & easy.

So delicious and so simple. Used bread flour for all required flour, still turned out great. These were gone the first day! Will make again.

Valentino's Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2008
Delicious, quick, & easy. This recipe is similar to the "Quick & Easy Pizza Crust" recipe on this website, but the texture and taste were a bit better. We'll be using this one from now on.

Groovy Green Smoothie

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2008
This was great- I told my son I had a "green slimy smoothie" for him and he was sold. I used watermelon (about 4 slices) instead of the apple, tasted and looked great! Also made great popsicles when frozen in a popsicle mold.

Campfire Veggies

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2008
The grill really added a delicious charcoal taste to this, and the butter completes the flavor & texture. Will make again! No changes made to recipe.

Hearty Breakfast Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2008
Although I live in a house of picky eaters, I was still surprised no one would eat these. These taste a little too "healthy" for my tastes- you can't really taste the peanut butter, just more of a whole-grain taste. Next time, I'll try adding a banana like another reviewer suggested, and double the peanut butter.

These are truly restaurant quality. Very delicious, will make again. Only had to cut baking time in half, otherwise made as is.
