Soft Oatmeal Cookies

This is by far the best recipe I have ever found for oatmeal cookies. They come out chewy and are so delicious! They also freeze very well. Watch out they are very addictive. I have a hard time eating just one!

French Bread

This is a great recipe for French bread. I have made it several times now and I love it. This recipe yielded 2 very large loaves. I froze one of the loaves and it was just as good after heating in the oven. Great recipe!

Slow Cooker Cranberry Roast

I will not be making this recipe again. The meat came out very dry and the sauce was just too sweet. It is a very simple recipe so I thought I would give it a try but was very disappointed with the results.

Chicken Tortellini Soup

This recipe is definitely a keeper. I used chicken that was leftover from the night before and a can of diced tomatoes instead of stewed tomatoes. It was delicious and filling. My husband loved it. I will be making this again!

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

This is a great recipe for chicken. I love that it is slow roasted. I prepared the chicken the night before, put it in the oven around lunchtime ran a bunch of errands and as soon as I stepped in the door my mouth was watering. This was easy and delicious! My husband made me promise to make this again.

Stuffed Cabbage

This recipe was just alright. I probably won't make it again. I added a good amount of rosemary, oregano and thyme to it as I thought it might be bland but it still was. It wasn't a bad recipe just not a great one.

Potluck Spareribs

I really didn't care for this recipe. I was hoping to find an easy recipe for spareribs and while it was easy it wasn't very good. I just didn't care for the flavor of the sauce. I cooked it in the crockpot as others suggested. If I had to do it over again I would have followed the recipe and cooked it in the oven. I didn't like the sauce though so I won't be making these again. It had such good reviews so I was pretty disappointed.

Eggplant Parmesan I

This was a very good recipe. The only change I made was to use less sauce. I only used about 1 cup of sauce total. I can't imagine using 4 cups of sauce for this recipe. It just seems like it would be too much. My husband and I don't like a lot of sauce though so it's really just our personal preference. We will be making this again. Thanks for a great recipe!

Pizza Dough I

This was a very good very basic pizza dough recipe. I use this when I don't have time to make a dough that needs to rise. In all honesty it tastes almost as good as the more involved pizza dough recipe that I usually use. I added oregano, basil and fresh minced garlic to give it a little more flavor and it was delicious. Thanks for a very good quick and easy recipe!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

This was my first attempt at making cheesecake and it came out great! My husband said it is the best he's ever had. I followed the directions exactly and used the advice of some other reviewers and used a water bath. I agree with previous reviews in that it is very important to make sure your ingredients reach room temperature before you mix them. This is the only recipe I will use to make cheesecake. It was delicious!

Cream Cheese Pound Cake III

Unfortunately I think I overcooked my pound cake a little. I probably should have taken it out after an hour but left it in the full hour and 20 minutes. I followed the suggestion of other reviewers and started it in a cold oven. The top and middle of the cake was very good. However the sides and bottom were very overdone. Next time I'll follow the directions exactly and preheat the oven.
