I've always loved to cook but I was hardly ever able to due to going to school and work full time. I try to make time for it as much as possible.
I've been a vegetarian for about a year and a half, so I'm trying to learn some awesome new recipes!

Melt - In - Your - Mouth Shortbread
Super tasty and really easy!! I used a decorator's bag and a star tip to make the cookies. The dough was a bit thick for this, so it was a nice, though short, workout for my arms/forearms. Doing this, I made 42 cookies. I probably should have baked them a bit longer, but they are perfect for me! I plan on making some more on the 4th with my friend, maybe I'll add some almond extract!

Cranberry Hootycreeks
Wow! I'm so happy I made these!! I made them as Christmas gifts last year and so far everyone has really liked them. I used unprocessed flour and sugar (make it a bit better for you I guess) and everyone has raved about them. They are so beautiful too.

Grilled Portobello Mushrooms
I didn't know hoe many mushrooms I had, since they ere precut...so I think the marinade was a bit heavy on the balsamic - but everyone seemed to like it! I actually don't even like mushrooms, and I thought they were pretty tasty.
