Old-Fashioned Roasted Pecans

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2012
AMAZING! So easy! They taste like the roasted pecans you get at Disney World! I did use vanilla instead of water and used 1/2 white 1/2 brown sugar. This is my favorite recipe I've tried from this site!

These are amazing! I read the recipe wrong and added the milk to the cookie dough, and they STILL turned out great! I did use 1/2 white sugar 1/2 brown sugar and baked for only 12 minutes. They are a keeper for sure! Kids and husband raved!

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2012
Great comfort food! I make it gluten free and omit the sherry and it still comes out delicious! I would suggest making double the gravy as some others have mentioned. Other than that its perfect!

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2010
Sauce was excellant! However, 2 boxes of frozen spinach almost ruined the whole dish! One would have been more than enough! Other than that, good recipe.

Peanut Butter and Banana Dog Biscuits

Very easy. I did not have wheat germ on hand so I substituted oats, dog loves them! We made these using a bone cookie cutter for Christmas gifts to our other dog lovers. They were a hit with all the dogs no matter what size or breed.

Easy Mushroom Rice

Reviewed: May 14, 2010
Yummy! I did make a some changes to accommodate what I had on hand. I used fresh mushrooms, and sauteed them with the onions & garlic in butter. I used cr. of chicken soup & veggie broth, and used basmatti rice. It took about 1 1/2 hours to cook due to the type of rice, but well worth it. Recipe is very forgiving & easy to change to fit each families likes/dislikes. This one is a keeper. Thanks for a great recipe!

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2010
YUMMY! I used 2 cans of diced green chili's in instead of the diced jalapeno (for the sake of the kiddos) and it was still pretty zingy but we loved it!

Good, but a little bland for me. I think with some extra garlic & some sea salt this will definitely be a keeper.

Split Pea Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2009
Excellent soup! Just what I was looking for! I did not soak the peas & it was fine. I used neck bones then added some smoked pork later in cooking process. Also, due to allergies, I substituted egg noodles for the potatoes. Already have orders form my husband to make again soon! Thanks for a great recipe!
