Chewy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2013
We eat a lot of sugar cookies in our house and I feel like I've tried every recipe in the book. This one is exactly what I've been searching for. Perfection :)

Campbell's Kitchen Easy Chicken Pot Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2013
I make this all the time because it's so quick and always a hit when I'm craving comfort food. Instead of the pie crust, I cook up some grands biscuits and lay them on top, open faced style. I also add cubed potatoes.

Baked Apricot Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2011
I did not care for this recipe. I took the suggestion of one of the reviewers and used Catalina dressing - perhaps this was my mistake, although Catalina is quite close to French. My husband gave it two thumbs down as well.

Golden State Mushroom Soup

i've made this soup twice now - it is truly delicious! I add broccoli to mine, but other than that, no changes are needed.

Veggie Brown Rice Wraps

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2010
these were surprisingly delicious. At first glance the recipe didn't seem like much but wow, these are yummy. The only change I made was to substitute red beans for black and I also did not add mushrooms. What a quick and tasty vegetarian option for dinner!

You can't go wrong with this recipe. As others have mentioned, all this recipe needs is salt, to taste.

Moo Goo Gai Pan II

This is a good solid recipe - close to the restaurant version. Definitely double the sauce.

Fruit Pizza II

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2010
absolutely delicious! I took this to a cookout and it was devoured. I was hesitant to use the orange glaze as I'm not a huge fan of orange flavor, but it really made the dish - so don't skip it.

Cucumber Ham Roll-Ups

these were very easy but the flavor was just ok. The cream cheese mixture needed something else.

Stuffed Peppers with Turkey and Vegetables

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2010
really good, but the cooking time is off. I cooked my peppers 20 minutes prior to stuffing and 15 after and they were still crunchy. Next time I'll cook 30 minutes prior to stuffing and 15 after.

Chicken Parmesan Bundles

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2010
meh. this was ok. I love cream cheese, but I thought in this, it was a little overwhelming. Next time I'd use less cream cheese and more parmesan and mozzerella. I'm not sure if I'd make this again though.

Campbell's Kitchen Easy Turkey Pot Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2010
this is good for an easy weeknight meal. I usually add potatoes and a little milk to make it a little saucier. I also personally prefer to use refrigerated pie crust rather than bisquick.

Spinach and Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta

this stuff is sooo good! I had really low expectations for this dish - I thought it just sounded too simple, but the flavor combination is really great. I ate it last week and am craving it still.

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2010
these are truly delicious. I don't make pancakes very often but this will become a regular at my house from now on. The recipe doesn't make very much though - my husband and I made one batch and it was just enough for the two of us.

this was a good basic recipe for fried rice. I added shrimp. Nothing out of this world but you can easily build on this.

Try It You'll Like It Kraut Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2010
The pork was tender and delicious however I felt it was too sweet and I really didn't care for the taste of carway with the Kraut. I'm going to stick with the tried, true and simple next time - just kraut and pork.

Taco Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2010
I love this recipe because it's quick and versatile and you can make it a whole lot healthier, very easily. I used reduced fat crescent rolls, and substituted ground turkey for beef. I used light cheddar cheese (p.s. you don't need the entire bag - just enough to spread on top). And instead of adding an entire layer of sour cream, I just put a dollop on top of each piece after serving. I also added a layer of salsa (after the turkey) which gave it a little kick. Delicious! next time I'll try adding a layer of low fat refried beans. Oh and one thing the recipe does not mention is to spray your baking pan with cooking spray (duh - simple thing, but I forgot and mine stuck to the pan) :)
