About this Cook
I absolutely love to cook...just hate to clean up. I hope that one day if i'm ever rich, i'll have a maid to do all the dishes and clean up the kitchen...wow, i'd be in heaven!!
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook Indonesian food as well as authentic mexican food.
My favorite family cooking traditions
just cooking with my mom and sisters...we all love to cook!
My cooking triumphs
thanksgiving, xmas and new years feasts all in a row one year...all by myself!!!
My cooking tragedies
lol...one time when i was 20 yrs old, i was making fried chicken. Well the fire was too high and the chicken got brown REAL fast. I thought it was done! But when my guest bit into a piece of chicken, blood came spilling out....ewwwww!!!!

Autumn Cheesecake
this cheesecake is very, very good. I listened to some of the other reviews, like adding another bar of creamcheese, another egg, increased the sugar and O MY GOSH...delicious.What I did do different, was use a 8" springform pan so the cake was thicker, which came out terrific. I up'd the cooking time to 75 min though, with a water bath. Also, added the flour, sugar and butter crumble just to top it iff and make it look pretty....This cake is a HIT!!!!

Dutch Almond Boterkoek
good cookie...reminded me when i was young and the dutch bakker would come to our house to bring us these cookies. The only issue I had was the time in the oven. I had them in there at least for 35 min. not 20...did anyone else have this problem???
